Ordered the spaghetti with garlic bread. Paid extra for meatballs.
Because they added meatballs to the same small container rather than on the side (was carryout), there were very little spaghetti noodles in the tray.
There were also maybe 5 tablespoons if even of sauce for a whole spaghetti meal that was said to be enough for 2 people to eat (ha!).
The meatballs were cold in the center as if they were taken from the freezer not cooked long enough. They were also saturated in water as if they were cooked by boiling them to the point of it being as if one were biting into a wet sponge.
The meatballs tasted like they were old or something. Had a taste similar to cardboard but worse. Couldnât even eat them after heating them up myself because they were so nasty. Never in my life have I had a meatball that tasted that horrible, and I am NOT a picky person when it comes to food so as long as it is fresh and cooked thoroughly.
The garlic bread was just a sub roll (same ones they use for their subs) that had barely any garlic put on it and what seemed to be the consistency of vegetable oil soaked into it. Had no flavor, was overcooked and very tough to chew. It even had burn marks on the trim from being cooked in the oven too long.
All in all, this experience tells me that they are more worried about rushing orders rather than making sure things are going to be satisfactory for/with the customer.
It also tells me that they are cheap and all about saving a penny when they can.
I mean câmon, charge multiple dollars extra for meatballs but take away 2/3 the noodles I am already overpaying for? Then canât even cook the meatballs thoroughly or put enough sauce to have sauce in every bite.
Needless to say, the meal went...
Read moreWe ordered the meatballs, the garlic bread, the deep dish pepperoni pizza, cheese cake, cannolis, and chocolate chip cookies.
The meatballs were so greasy and undercooked. I could not even finish one bit because as soon as I put it in my mouth, I had to spit it right out because it felt like a wet sponge. I felt as if it was raw and that I was going to get food poisoning if I continued eating it.
The garlic bread tasted sweet and like expired chocolate that was left out for days. I finished only one piece because it tasted more like candy then it did like bread. I would definitely qualify it as being an embarrassment to all other garlic breads.
The pizza was pretty good except for the fact that we ordered a deep dish and they gave us a New York Style. We decided not to go back to get the right one because they had already forgotten to give us the pizza the first time around and we did not want to have to drive all the way back again. Before we started eating it, we had to take napkins and try to take off some of the grease on the top because it was too greasy to pick up. The pizza was so greasy that I felt like someone had poured all the extra grease from that day and put it on our pizza.
The only reason why I gave this place 1 star is firstly because there is no lower rating to give and secondly because the desserts we ordered were very good! However, for the amount of money we paid for our food, I am very disappointed with the quality and will never be ordering from Tuscany's again.
All we wanted was a nice relaxing night before starting to study for finals, but instead we got food that was so bad that we are now worried that we are going to get sick. I wish we could...
Read moreHad a new waitress and it was her first day. Now in no way was all of this was her fault, she have someone with her to help her take our order. My son order the bambino pizza with pepperoni on it, I'll get back to this. So the wait for our order wasn't very long for a party of 6. However the food came out for 5 of us. My mother in-law was just waiting for her calzone. So we waited for about an hour and by that time the rest of us were done eating. So since we were traveling home we still had about a 9 hour drive. So when my mother in-law went up to pay the bill she asked for the manager and we think that he was actually the owner. She explained what happened and he said that it wasn't on the order and that they didn't start until I went up to ask about it and why it was taking so long. So now after she was looking at the bill she noticed that were charged f a lar chee piz instead of a bambino pizza with pepperoni on it. Now he was trying to give that large pizza to her. So he switched that for her. not only did he comp the calzone he also gave her 10% off the whole bill. Then my mother in-law noticed that we were never charged for our drinks and he said don't worry about it. I know that everyone has a bad day once in awhile so by no means am saying don't go here. If we live here we would definitely give it...
