Subway — Restaurant in Emporia

I want to start out by saying the coupins we get in the mail here locally in Emporia are no good at both Subway Locations. I had a Coupin for a $9.99 Footlong Sub Combo meal and didn't find out until checkout time that they can't accept them. The lady was nice and went ahead and said that happens sometimes so if there is a coupon and they don't catch it, they'll accept the free cookie and chips part to make up for it. It lowered my meal down to over 12 something which is still high in my opinion but I had 2 dollars in reward points so I paid 10.61 totol with tax. I had the Pizza sub on Italian herbs and cheese bread which seemed thin ,American Cheese, Marinara sauce, Onions, Green Peppers,Jalepenos, Black Olives Parm Cheese, and Southwest Sauce. I noticed that my sub was skimpy and not as filling or tasty as it used to be. Maybe cause of inflation and maybe other subs are more filling. I also noticed the meat area has a large metal cover over it that keeps the meat from being seem so maybe that's how they're able to put less on. Either way it was still flavourful and their Rasberry Cheesecake Cookies are delicious and fresh though. So gone are the days of the $5 dollar footlong. The store was clean and well lit but the outside could be a little nicer but it is in an older building. I was already upset that their app wasn't working and was giving me trouble. Then I went in to just place my order there and they were very rude and unprofessional. Had attitude for no reason. They obviously weren't listening and were trying to just get me out of there cause I had to correct and reask what I wanted several times which seemed really annoy them. I ordered two footlong subs and I tried to use a coupon that I received in the mail. They told me they could not take the coupon. How do I use the coupons that Subway sends me when the two locations in Emporia do not take them. I told them to keep the sandwiches and walked out. Went to Gambinos and got a better sub for a cheaper price. Subway needs to hold their operating franchises to a higher standard. I will not return to either location until this changes. Very poor...
