Sip-N-Sea: Coffee + Açaí — Restaurant in Encinitas

Great coffee shop. Found this little gem while traveling for work. The motel I was staying at did not have coffee and recommended a short walk to a side-of-the road coffee stand, well not a stand, but a small building with a colorful mural of Boba Fet holdig a surfboard in waves. (It definitely catches your eye if you're traveling on the historic 101 highway.) The barista's(owners?) were very friendly and helpful. I fell in love with the Americano with half-and-half and the kids really enjoyed the hot Coco, while the wife wanted the vanilla latte and freshly delivered almond croissant day after day. They nailed all the drinks and the aroma from the shop fills the air better than any Starbucks. We frequented the shop for the week and by day 3 they remembered our names! Definitely recommend Sip-N-Sea if you're in the area, and it's a perfect side quest if you or on the 5 freeway and just need a quick...

We vacationed in Encinitas and stopped here on our way to the beach. I ordered a carmel gold brew and my daughter ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. We were greeted with friendly service, the cashier answered all of our questions and we were promptly served our drinks. That has to honestly be some of the best, most flavorful cold brew I've ever had. I really enjoyed it as it was nice and flavorful without being bitter and it was sweet without being overly sweet. My daughters smoothly was nice and refreshing, exactly what she was looking for. I appreciate that they use real fruit as it provides a better tasting product. Was visiting from out of town and knew that I needed to try some açaí while we were in Cali. Found this place a was so impressed with everything! It’s small but the team works fast and efficiently getting orders out with a smile. We tried a few things but our favorites were the coconut açaí bowl, it was AMAZING! It has a creamy coconut layer mixed with the OG açaí and is topped with crunchy granola and fresh fruit! We also got a butterscotch latte and it was truly delicious. I love that they make their flavors in-house (you can tell the deference). It was creamy and smooth but bold enough to still taste the coffee through very well balanced.

Definitely look forward to visiting this place again...
