I've been here several times in the past as I've stayed at Tahiti Village. This is the first time me and my party have been throughly disappointed. The service was VERY poor. We were not promptly greeted. After seating ourselves we decided to pull up the menu on our phones as we waited a few minutes before a server came over with them and then promptly left. She came back shortly afterwards to take beverage orders instead of taking our order when she came the first time. We ordered meals at the same time as the menu was small and we had decided already. We received the food by a second server after an acceptable amount of time however, we had not yet been given silverware, we also requested beverage refills and condiments. By the time the second server came back, with silverware only, our food was luke warm. Portions were small, the nachos had only about 10 chips and lacked beans, we were told AFTER it was delivered that they were out of beans, and it seems the alfredo sauce on the pasta dish had sat stewing in the pot too long and was on the thick side. We completed our meals, all the while a server never came back the entire time we ate, not even to refill beverages that we asked for long ago or to check on us. We continued to wait, finishing every last drop in all of our glasses before a third server came. We ordered four more beverages and stated that we waited far too long for service and we no longer needed the condiments as we were finished eating, no apologies or excuses were offered by the server. He came back shortly with beverages but had forgotten one and also gave us one that we had not requested. The first server finally came back with the missing beverage and announced that she will now be serving us again. Once again they all disappeared and we finished with the beverages and waited, and waited for the checks. Several minutes passed as we watched them all tend to and chit chat with other patrons. Just as we began to stand and leave the table the third server came back with the checks stating that the nachos had been removed from one check since they were unacceptable to us and the $12 beverage that we did not order was also removed from another check. Upon checking for accuracy of that statement we saw the beverage had not been taken off as he had said. Our party was polite and patient the entire time and had done nothing to deserve that kind of service. The restaurant is not large, was not crowded, and three servers should have been capable of being efficient and professional with EVERYONE. Long story long, none of...
Read moreWas there on 5/15/2022 at about 9:35 to get a couple of drinks ($35 for two) for my wife and I. Asked the bartender (caucasian female older with glasses & a bad attitude) who didn’t give me her name, because I kindly ask her-I also asked about what time they closed the kitchen? She said last call for the kitchen is between 10pm-10:15pm. So I came back to order cheese sticks and chicken strips at 9:45pm. She stopped me cold on my tracks and said they had last call a while ago and I remind her what she said about 10pm-10:15pm and she said it doesn’t matter she’s closed and everything is closed at 9:45pm while other patrons are still ordering drinks with her at the bar. I was the only person not of her kind I suppose for her to be so mean and rude while the other patrons looked and were shaking their heads in disagreement with how she was handling whatever situation she created.
Definitely do not recommend this over priced eatery and especially with that old bartender who definitely needs to retire and stay in her cave. Tahiti Village representation is so bad inside it’s own gates. So I went and purchased a cheese pizza right across that the gentleman of there was professional and kind even while he was closing and counting his till receipts. He was not caucasian. That’s why he was extraordinarily nice versus the other eatery’s bartender. SMH. Thank You Mr. Pizza guy. 😁👍 At least we got a nice hot cheese pizza 🍕! After this stay I will visit this place again. I do NOT recommend this place. It’s better at the South Point. Better and nicer people no matter...
Read moreSTINGY! RUDE! AND TASTELESS! Would give negative stars if I could..... My wife ordered food for our family and then jumped in the shower for us to leave for our reservation. Very simple burgers and I think a wrap. 3 items were missing lettuce or had so little it was not seen. I called down to have them set aside some lettuce for us and she all but refused!? For lettuce......??? Kept me on the phone for almost 12 minutes asking me our receipt number and info I didnt know, I didnt pick it up. Asked me to bother my wife in the shower more then 4 times while fighting kids to just get them fed. Absolutely ridiculous. I didnt ask for more meat or even cheese........ freaking lettuce!? She ended it telling me she would give me 1 piece... how is that even close to what I needed or paid for. This resort is huge! Im not leaving my kids to walk a round trip of 16 minutes for 1 peace of lettuce that I already paid for technically 4 or 5. The food was very disappointing. I should have read the other reviews. EXTREMELY overpriced and not worth the hassle what so ever. I expected better from a place so far from the strip and clinging to any business they can. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. This restaurant is the total opposite ... Just grab some of your own food elsewhere and cook it since we have kitchens or the few places around the hotel. Can't believe we got better food and hospitality at...
