After waiting in line inside, I ordered a grande Nitro cold brew with a splash of cream and salted caramel cold foam. The cashier was very nice. I went to the other end of the counter and realized she didn't ask for my name so I was listening for my drink order to be called out.
After waiting several minutes I noticed an iced coffee drink that had been sitting there, waiting to be picked up for awhile and decided to investigate. It had my name on it. Huh? How'd that happen??? Then it dawned on me that I'd scanned my app for the first time, to earn stars, and that must have given my name, as well.
But this couldn't be MY coffee. It had ice, wasn't nitro and had no cold foam topping. I gently asked an employee if I may have gotten the wrong order. She said there was probably another Brittany. Ahem. I showed her my receipt then she asked, somewhat exasperated, what did you order? A little confused, I repeated what the receipt had listed, which was correct - a grande nitro cold brew with splash of cream and cold foam topping. I asked what I should do.
She grabbed the drink, poured it out, started filling it from the nitro tap (which I'd never actually witnessed before because, drive thru) then added some cream, continued to fill it with the "nitro" coffee, popped the lid on and gave it to me. I thanked her kindly and decided to leave even though it still wasn't correct. (My new boss was waiting on me.)
The tap for nitro dispensed a very dark, non creamy looking liquid that didn't appear to be nitro infused at all. Maybe it needed a refill? The end result was a barely chilled, very light colored coffee drink that had no oomph, no cold foam topping and none of the usual deliciousness I've come to expect when ordering this drink numerous times in the past. I had a few sips and the rest sat wasted, in the car.
To be honest, I've had several instances where my order has been delivered with ice in it and/or not the nitro cold brew. But each time that I've caught it, the employees have been quick and gracious to fix it immediately. This was my first (and probably last) time visiting this location and I felt like my request was an imposition and handled very gruffly. This was also the most I'd ever paid for a single coffee drink (over $6) and had still left the register feeling good enough to tip the nice service I'd received from the cashier.
After it was all said and done, I wished I'd never ordered anything and had those hard earned dollars back to spend somewhere else on something I would...
Read moreI purchase coffee here a lot.. I come at the most important part of the day Morning. I purchase coffee on this day I decided to" bring my own mug" ... The Company is awesome for doing this.. The Venti is the perfect pour for my"Mug" I know this very well because I used it before. This day the attendant must have been new, ... I'm going to chalk it up to that. When my total came up I noticed a price difference, when I initially presented my own mug.. they were very aware. But unfortunately I was charged as of I didn't "bring my own mug" when I questioned the attendant, they immediately realized that she did charge me for a Purchased cup. While correcting the error, she gave a condescending reply..."it's only ten cents" as if to say.. Ur want your ten cents " off. Its Your company promotion!!! What part of that does that employee not understand. And she's basically calling me cheap on the low!!! Starbucks if you are going to employ individuals that don't respect your vision and your appreciation towards customers, then this person I described during my experience definitely doesn't need to be working there. Especially if they're brand new and showing uncharacteristic traits unbeknownst to your excellent baristas that I'd received coffee from.. I actually own stock in you Starbucks... I could have fired her myself. Get them straight... Customer service customer service. No judgement for wanting to take advantage of Bringing...
Read moreToday I was having a horrible day even lost my mask I had and thought I go and grab a refresher at Starbucks. I asked if they had a mask that I could purchase she said no but there is disposable ones. So I said ok. I ordered what i wanted and when I got to the window I was greater with a (smile through the eyes) and was told the mask was ok and was given a disposable mask I thanked the wonderful girl at the drive through window and then I gave her my card for my order which then she proceeded to tell me my drink was on us, she heard that I was having a rough day which I did mention at the ordering station and I was blown away that she went out of her way to do that for me. I was ready to cry at this point since I was having a horrible day and I paid for the rest of my order which was a pastry. I thanked her over and over and really wanted to hug her but (covid) so all I could do is start to tear up and almost cry. I never got her name or read the name tag because I was in shock still. But I just wanted to say thank you to whomever you are for being so thoughtful and I hope your day turns out as great as mine did with this wonderful gesture. Thank you so much for a wonderful act of kindness. 💙 I will be coming back again. My order # was 780287 @1214p...
