Today I ordered takeout from here and the food was awful. The fried rice and ribs tasted like it was cooked in the same grease, and the grease was probably old. The ribs were tough, not even chewy just tough. The sauce from the ribs was greasy, and had a bland taste. The chicken from my sweet and sour chicken was chewy, so I can imagine that it was beyond a day or so old also. I didn’t even allow my wife to try/taste her food. If the health department was open I would call them now. I actually called the to express my displeasure, and all I got from the person that answered the phone was,”you must not of eaten here before, this is how it always is”. Well if that’s the case OMG. We've eaten here enough to provide this review. Placed an order for delivery, food didn't arrive for 1.5 hours. Soup and dumplings were cold, and soup was leaked all over the bag. I called the restaurant to explain this bad experience and the guy must have thought I was a delivery company representative because he immediately said, no delivery was 45 minutes food was hot this customer is no good big time complainer. I advised the guy I AM the customer, and I've ordered from him multiple times and this is just a bad experience. He said, oh.... food in 45 minute it was hot. Over and over. Chopstix should not be charging you a $2.99 delivery fee when they actually process their deliveries and delivery payments through postmates, who ALSO charges taxes and fees and actually delivers the food. Unless you're absolutely clear on how much extra it will cost for delivery, just pick it up yourself. I didn't realize until after I paid (an amount that wasn't the actual full amount I was ultimately charged) and received a confirmation text that Ppstmates would be delivering my food.
