Starbread Las Vegas - Windmill — Restaurant in Enterprise

I’m only giving a 2-star because the bread is THE BOMB!!!! But the service, one word: HORRIBLE!! They’re little boys. The kid took something off my order on accident, and you can only use a card for anything over $10…. So my order was about $23, and I gave a $6 tip on my card, equaling $29! Then this little boy says SUPER SLOW, “ohhh…. I forgot to add this ($2 item!!) to your ordeerrrrr….” I didn’t have any cash, but I said give me a sec, I’ll go check my car…. I come back with scraped up $2.07 in all change… I hand it to him, and let him know the amount because it would’ve taken him FOREVER to count it. (He already didn’t even know how many products I got on my order.) So he lets me know it’s $2.17. I said “There’s no way 10 cents can be covered since I can’t use my card?” He pats his pockets, and says “ohhhhhh, you’re short 10 cents….. you can’t get this.” I’m like “uuhhhhh… but I gave you a $6 tip on a $23 order, and you forgot to add this. Can you please ask your manager if it would be possible to cover TEN CENTS?” He goes in the back for maybe 10 seconds, and came back and in a quiet voice, says “yeah, no one has 10 cents…” I said “what?? Can I speak with the manager??” (Because I wasn’t asking for someone to literally give me 10 cents like I was some kind of begger, it’s just silly that I just paid, HE forgot to add this item, I go to my car to scrape up any change, I already gave a $6 tip on my card, and that doesn’t make sense.) He said uuummmmm….. sure….. he brings another young boy… I tell this kid the same thing, I was only 10 cents short… they start making it a HUGE deal, I’m asking them if they can take 10 cents from my $6 tip, they’re literally saying it’s impossible to do that, and pretty much, I can’t get this item (mind you the entire time, they’re holding my WHOLE order hostage behind them, like I didn’t pay for it!) I say, “ok no worries I won’t get it, hand me my change, and my order.” They’re moving SLOW as heck, and the second kid that pretended to be the manager, just throws this $2 item back up on the counter where this item is. I was so pissed, after they hand me my order and my $2.07, I grabbed another one of these said items, and as I was walking out, I said, “now you can take $2.17 from your $6 tip instead of 10 cents!” But other than that, their bread is AMAZING. Everything else I got wasn’t that great. So that’s my first and only time at Starbread. I didn’t need to tip them, (like I’m sure most people don’t) but for 10 cents? They need to be more understanding, and clearly their parents didn’t teach them to treat people how they want to be treated. Fist time I went the guy in the front receive me with a very welcoming smile ,follow to let me know wath options they have,absolutely knowledgeable about their products,in the other hand second time it was a totally different experience the girl was NOT welcoming at all she had some Mouchis left because it was around 5:30pm they close at 6pm I requested to taste the pistachio flavor to see if I like it that way I can buy the rest of the same flavors 5 left plus the other ones that I knew for sure I was going to buy, she follow to let me know that I have to pay first I could tate the pistachio flavor wish I said NO problem then she put the Pistachio way in the bottom of the bag and I follow to let her know that I needed to taste that one in order for me to purchase the rest of the pistachio, she did Not car she continued to bagged the bred she ask if I needed anything else and I reply YES let me taste the pistachio one to see if I want to buy the rest, I paid and she follow to give me my change and call the next customer,by the time I tasted the pistachio the line was super long.....I just don't understand why she put the the pistachio flavor in the bottom of the bag if she had knowledge that I wanted to tasted in order to know if I was buying the rest....By the way PISTACHIO was amazing but I left with out buying the rest because of her...
