I ate from here twice. Once as takeout and the other later on in the day as dine-in. Takeout you much order in person even if you are staying at the hotel and wait 20-30 mins but they don't notify you even if you are in front of them that your food is ready early. I just accepted it as maybe they weren't paying attention.
Then I went to dine-in and we were placed in a cramped corner against a wall including the table but on the opposite side was noticeable room to have the table pulled out a little more. We felt uncomfortable but just simply pushed the table 3 inches off the wall as to have a little room. Then we noticed the general manage walked to every table and talked to every person around us except for us, multiple times. To the point he did it 3 times and kept taking glances at us. We tried to ignore it but he kept making a point to talk to the people next to us loudly with his back to us and is butt in our face since he was standing. It was very awkward and weird to the point we felt we had to say something. My guest is an inspector and was appalled by this over the top behavior and said something. He turned around and said "what can I help you with?" almost as if we were a bother. My guest explained what we observed and how he spoke to everyone asking how things were but seemed to ig ore us who was in plain sight. He gave a quick and hollow sorry as to signal he wanted to leave and still didn't even pretend to ask how was the service. Which I would have love to have gave the staff praise but due to his behavior he became the focus. So, she asked for his card and let him know she will be reporting this. His response was flippant and said well I am the general manager so you will be talking to me.
I am not sure what his problem with us was as I am a former Vegas resident and decide to stay at South Point as I have always liked this off the strip place. We tipped well and was very pleasant with the staff so his attitude was sort of alarming as this was our first time dining in. I will not be returning as the food wasn't that great and the general manager left a really bad taste. Now, I wonder was our food bland on purpose since the general manager apparently had a problem with us being there. Well, he has his wish and I will make sure my followers will know not to...

Read moreFirst, I have been here before and loved it but not this time. I was seated and asked if I would like anything to drink. I ordered a sapporo draft. I was brought my beer and placed my order for meso soup and sushi. That was the last time I saw my waiter. As I sat there I noticed people that were seated after me were already receiving there soups and salads. Eventually someone from the kitchen comes by and delivers my sushi. They snuck off real fast before I could ask about my soup. I then realized I had not been given any wasabi, ginger, or soy sauce. I started eating anyway as I was hungry. I ate my sushi and drank my beer till both were gone and I still hadn't been checked on. I stood up and went to pay my bill. The cashier asked for my ticket and I told her I had not received it yet. She printed it out and I told her I didn't want to pay for soup I never received. She seemed concerned and offered to get it for me but I had enough of a bad experience so I refused. Terrible Service, No Soup, No Wasabi, Ginger, or Soy so the Sushi was Dry. I had better service at Steak And Shake right next door. I still tipped 7$ but I left feeling...
