The salad bar was very good. We then ordered the food. It all came out at different times. The fish came out first. And then the kids mac n cheese ( Kraft boxed mac n cheese) it wasn't hot. 15 minutes later the cheeseburger and fries. 25 minutes after ordering the steak came out. I asked for ketchup twice. She finally brought the ketchup right before we got the check. And apparently they ran out of tea. Im assuming that boiling the tea is too much work. Refills of drinks? Get real. She'd have to make eye contact and ask you if you want a refill. First rule as a server: never let their drinks run out. Second rule: keep the cooks on point and make sure your irders are ready at the same time and are correct. People work hard for their money. Make it worth their while. $111.35 for our orders. The waitress comes over and stands around waiting for her tip. Did I tip her? Yes. Im still asking myself why I did. She said it was the lunch rush. I've been a waitress. It was slow. There was no lunch rush. 🙄 There were a lot of empty tables. I heard the tables all around us. Every table she had? They all had problems. She needs to be retrained ir do something else. And the grill cooks need to be retrained on how to work tickets per table. We were here before a few months ago. Zero problems then. My daughter in law was actually getting frustrated with it all because she waits tables at a restaurant. There's zero excuse for the problems we and the other tables had. Zero. Especially when you're paying that amount of money. Actually any amount of money. Im in management and I would be mortified by my staff if they did that. Better training makes for a more knowledgeable and well equipped staff. Do...
Read moreI am not the type of person to write a review because of something negative at all. However I browsed online to see if they still had the 2 for $22 deal for lunch today I could not find it, so I decided to give them a call and they told me yes they do have the deal still going on so I ordered. I get to the ruby Tuesdays and the lady tells me the total is $37.06 and I immediately knew that wasn't what I was told. She said there's a 5 dollar up charge for each of the HALF slab ribs, so if that is the case I would not advertise that under a 2 for $22. She gets the manager and she immediately looks at me with an attitude and states before anything she cant "give any type of discount" which I did not ask for one in the first place so I took offense to her comment. By the time I paid for everything the lady who checked me out makes a smart comment and says "have a better day". All I wanted was for them to understand that they need to be more clear because like me there's a lot of people who have a budget and there's a reason we take advantage of these "deals". I felt like they did not care about helping me and I was mistreated and I will never go back to that location in Enterprise, Al. It is sad because I have been eating there for a very long time. The service just isn't the same unfortunately. And to top it off the ribs were dry and the mashed potato's tasted like they had been in the refrigerator for 2 weeks or more. The manager and her worker were the worst employees I have ever seen Ruby Tuesday's hire so far. I have never been mistreated or felt steered in the wrong direction ever in that restaurant...

We knew going in that with a party of 11, it was going to take some time to be seated. That we understood. We also knew that with a party of 11 and the ongoing help shortage being felt by just about all of the service industry, that it would take some time to have our orders taken, delivered to the kitchen, prepped, and then brought out. Again, this we understood.
What wasn't expected was that the shrimp in the parmesan shrimp pasta would be raw. Not undercooked - raw. They were thawed, but that's about it. Unfortunately, we had to send our plates back. Our server told us later that they just remade both dishes. (My wife and I ordered the same thing.) So 20 minutes after we sent them back, she brought them again, freshly prepared so they "would be right". They forgot the parmesan sauce the second time. So I contacted our server and asked for the sauce to be brought to us. I was literally afraid to send the dishes back again, because I was afraid of retribution by the kitchen staff. I don't know that they would have retaliated, but I wasn't willing to take that chance.
So we ate lukewarm pasta.
We then ordered the cookie brownie with ice cream. It was phenomenal. Hot and cold together and decadently delicious. So cheers to our server and the dessert prep team for bailing out the kitchen...
