I’ve currently waiting for my burger and it’s been over 35 minutes 🥲. It’s 11:18pm and it’s not too busy. What’s going on? I just got off the night shift and I’m pretty hungry. I don’t want to leave because I already paid. Please help.
Edit: it’s currently 11:57 pm and I currently back home have my food. This was a very disappointing experience. I was waiting for so long that the drive-in screen eventually said “thanks for coming” and reverted back to the initial ordering screen. I pressed the red button again. I was shortly thereafter greeted with “welcome to sonic may I take your order”. My response was “yes hello, is my order almost ready” (keep in mind I have been waiting for 40+ minutes at this point). The man in the speaker said “I’m so sorry it’ll be right out”. And about 1 minute later the young man brought my order to my vehicle. I chose not to bore this gentleman with all my complaints because that is what this review is for. I accepted my order, and rolled up my window. I told myself you know what, although I had to wait forever, at least I can chill here and eat this meal. I pop a single fry into my mouth - it was cold. It was “sitting on a counter top for 30+ minutes” cold. I went to wash down the fry with my ocean water but the drink had been sitting out for so long it had Lost its fizz/carbonation. I told myself you know what, despite the cold fries and flat soda, the burger has to be fine - I’ll wait until I get home to eat it. Unfortunately, when I unwrapped my burger from the foil, I was deeply saddened to learn that they got my order wrong. I ordered and paid for a double cheese burger, but they gave me a single. This midnight excursion cost me $11.93. At the end of the day, I did not get what I paid for. I believe this Sonic has a lot of work to do if they want to strive for excellence. Read moreI went to Sonic August 5th, around 8:30, and left with nothing. I placed an order on the app for just drinks and pulled to stall nine and pressed the red button to get checked in. After about five minutes someone finally answered and told me I would have to move to an order ahead stall to be checked in ( not a big deal just never been told I had to move before) but while I was waiting I see a sonic worker walking around outside on her phone while people was waiting for their orders. I moved to an order ahead stall and after about 30 minutes I asked a worker if they would please bring me the manager, the worker i spoke to first was not very nice, then the manager who was the one walking around on her phone came out and told me it would just be a few minutes so I continued to wait since I had already paid for the drinks. After about 15 more minute I asked for the manager again and when she came out she was out of breath and acted like I bothered her by asking for her again so I proceeded to ask why she can walk around outside and I can’t even get my drinks, then I was told to leave and cancel my order through the app because she wouldn’t do it inside. No apology, no have a good night, NOTHING. I’m okay with waiting fast food isn’t always fast but i’m not okay with being told to just leave. Read moreMy husband and I went to sonic the other night and had the worst customer service experience you could imagine. We waited well over 30 mins for our food and it was cold. Ice cream blast running all on the sides of the cup and slushy was more like juice with no ice. We asked for napkins because ice cream running everywhere. When we asked our server to give some he never came back. I then realized how cold the food was. So I Press the order button again to notify someone that our food was extremely cold you can tell it had been sitting. The manager promised fresh French fry’s. So we waited…. Everyone so busy playing around they forgot about serving us. Long story short the manager ended up telling me they were closed after we had already been there 35 minutes prior to them closing. I explained to him that he told me they were going to fix us fresh fries then he says oh I forgot. Everyone was so busy Fixing food for themselves to take home. All we received was over cooked fries and no napkins. now this is 15 minutes after they closed and we were there 35 minutes prior to them closing. We get played everytime by night shift...
