Ghetto as H€££. I ordered online to go. The sandwiches arrived smashed and they didn't include the cookies. Also, the sandwich bread was torn. It was as if they didn't have a sharp enough knife when they cut it. Whatever they did they rough handled it. I called the store. The male who answered was RUDE and chided me "oh, you didn't get your cookies?" as if I was a child. I told him with that attitude we would just want a refund. He said "Sure ma'am, whatever makes you happy." I sent my son back with the sandwich and receipt. HE KEPT THE SANDWICH AND did not provide a refund, after telling us to bring the food back for a refund, and he gave my son the cookies which I told him on the phone we did not want anything and wanted a refund since they did not include the cookies. At this point, we consider it theft. Did NOT even offer to remake and is accusing my son of smashing the food. Why would we do that? I've called corporate twice now and I've made an inquiry on the computer and nobody's gotten back to us. I don't know where people get off thinking that they can be rude to people that spend a considerable amount for lunch. The thing that gets me is the guy said we could get a refund and then when my son went back there he simply took the sandwich from him and didn't give him a refund when he told me over the phone that he would. When I went back there they said they "threw away" the sandwich and I didn't eat that day until after 4:00 in the afternoon because I had skipped breakfast. Very very bad business! I have video from when I went back and the guy definitely lied. They knew we ordered off the internet that's how the order came in and when I called he said we could get the refund. So when my son went down there they had a different story and nobody cares. Both sandwiches were smashed up. It's like they have a bunch of juveniles working there that think it's funny to cheat people out of their hard-earned money, disrespect them,...
Read moreThis subway is near my home, not the closest one, but I chose this one because the closer one had horrible reviews. One reviewer said that this is a black-owned franchise, so wanted to show support. It was busy when I got there, but the employees were super friendly and acknowledged me when I came in. Veggies were fresh and so was the bread even though it was 8 at night, huge plus.
Sandwich was made exactly right and the employee making the sandwiches also worked the register. He washed his hands before he changed his gloves each time he touched the cash register before making a new sandwich. I was impressed, that's something you never see, and it means the management not only has strict protocols but enforces them. Store was very clean and sandwich was delicious. This is my go-to subway from now on.
Ps. The woman before me ordered a sandwich that had me flabbergasted; egg patties with bacon, cheese, onions, green peppers, and extra ranch...
Read moreEmployee Joshua displayed unprofessional behavior when asked to follow the OSHA guidelines for health and safety. Joshua entered my order into the computer while another associate started preparing my meal. The associate who was preparing my meal had to step away from the front. Joshua then stated he would finish preparing my meal. He then proceeded to grab gloves to place them on his hands. Before he was able to place the first glove I asked him to please wash his hands before continuing. Joshua stated "No" his hands were clean because he did not touch any money. I informed Joshua though he didn't touch the money, his hands should always be washed before handling any food items or placing new gloves on his hands otherwise the gloves would be contaminated. Joshua became visibly upset at my request and stated he would not make my meal and I could wait on the other Employee to return then walked away to the back of...
