The Greek Gyro — Restaurant in Enterprise

Hey all, I recently decided to pay this spot a visit after seeing the many 5 star reviews its garnered over its short time opened. The location was spotless and the staff were friendly, but the food, on the other hand, left a bit to be desired. I ordered two gyros, one chicken the other beef/lamb. Their presentation was on point and they were certainly aromatic, however, both the chicken and beef/lamb gyros lacked seasoning compared to the other Greek spot I frequent, Meraki Greek Grill. The first half of my beef/lamb was jam packed with tzakiki and french fries which I appreciated, but the other half was another story entirely. It was completely barren without a fry or any sauce in sight, just meat. Furthermore, the tzakiki had an "off" taste to it that I don't know how to explain, and the fries had maybe a single spec of salt on them, the veggies were fresh though, I guess. The chicken gyro I've seen other reviews raving about was nothing special either. I'd take the chicken over the beef/lamb though, that one at least had sauce and fries all throughout, and the honey mustard sauce was pretty solid. Amazing food! As an European who vacations in Greece every year, I was excited to try the Gyro once this location opened, especially because many places in Vegas americanize gyros and it’s not authentic. I got to say I was really surprised and todays Gyro was just amazing, packed with meats, French fries and salad (even though the original gyros doesn’t come with lettuce, but I really liked it as it ads freshness). We received such a warm and friendly welcoming from the staff for our first time here today. This is Truly Authentic Greek food. I grew up in the Greek Orthodox Church and this food reminds me of all the Greek food that was home cooked that we’d eat after leaving Church. The food was all so delicious. We had the Lamb Beef Gyro, Lamb Beef Gyro plate with rice and the loukoumades. We are so happy this restaurant is now in our neighborhood.
