Experience/Environment: From the outside, you really have no idea what to expect. The windows are covered by graphics and the doorway is normal/small size. Once you walk in, there is an open floor with tons of seating. Directly in the back is the counter and kitchen behind it.
Price: Not your typical $10-$12 pho place. Just a little higher — I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s because area. Looking around $14-$16 bowls.
Food: Delicious. Nothing screams comfort food like a nice bowl of noodle soup with EGG noodles for me. Broth was tasty and the all the vegetables were the right texture. The side plate of sprouts, basil, and jalapeños could’ve been a little bigger but that could also be because I’m greedy. Haha.
Another REALLY cool thing was the ramekins of chili paste, pickled jalapeños, and chili sauce that was on each table. Normal pho places only have hoisin sauce and siracha, this addition was worth the extra couple dollars for the bowl. The individual containers were a nice touch too. I liked being able to get my spices ready before my bowl even came out lol.
Service: Adequate. As soon as I sat down, water was brought to me. More businesses should adapt the individual water jugs. It eliminates the annoyance of customers having to wait for their water to be topped off and it’s just better.
NTT [[Next Time Try]]: I think I want to try some appetizers and maybe even a dry dish. Oh and the Vietnamese ice coffee! That’s a definite for next time.
Thank me later ;) Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you...
Read moreMy husband and I love Pho we usually eat at pho and beyond often but it’s a bit of a drive, we were recommended this place by our neighbor and liked the fact that it was only a few minutes up the road we’ve eaten here 3 times now since finding it the pho is good but unfortunately the third time we ate here we ordered take out it was a busy day for them so it took longer than usual to get our food which was fine my husband got our food and brought it home when he got home we noticed we were missing two meats from our pho combos my husband called immediately they told him to come back as if they would give us the meats or discount it from the price (the price was not the problem we really just wanted the meat we were missing) my husband took video of both of our combos and showed what meats we had so they could see we were missing two when he got there they proceeded to tell him he had to take a picture or bring back all the food saying the video wasn’t good enough proof why would you have him drive all the way back like you were going to grant a simple solution to just wind up saying there was nothing that could be done…so unfortunately we will not be back because we tried to be very understanding from getting our food late to driving back and forth to missing meat and we just were not accommodated I’d say if your getting take out on a busy day when they may be overwhelmed make sure you check your food thoroughly before leaving because they will not accommodate later…we will be sticking to...
Read morePho Spot is a newly opened Vietnames restaurant in the area, and I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I visited twice during their first week of opening, and both experiences were impressive.
On my first visit, I ordered the Special Pho. The broth was rich and flavorful—not bland or watery like some other places. The rice noodles were soft but held their shape well without breaking apart. What stood out to me the most was the meat. The well-cooked brisket was tender, and the rare beef was gently pounded before being added to the bowl, making it incredibly tender and bringing out the natural sweetness of the meat.
Three days later, I returned to try the Bun Bo Hue. Once again, I was impressed by the broth—aromatic, bold, and deeply flavorful. I also heard from my friends who dined here that their grilled pork chop rice (com suon) and shaking beef (Bo Luc Lac) are highly recommended. I’m excited to come back and try more dishes in the future.
The service was also excellent. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout my visits. The owner even came over to my table to personally ask if I was satisfied with the food. I jokingly told her that my only complaint was how long I had to wait for the restaurant to finally open—I’ve been craving a quality pho spot in the area for a long time, and Pho Spot did not disappoint.
Highly...
