Don't waste your time or frustrate yourself and just go to CHIK-FIL-A! If you can read my many other reviews you will find I hardly ever rate a restaurant poorly, however, this will be the rare exception. It was that bad overall.
To start with the restaurant was freezing. The temp outside was in the low 50's and falling yet they had their A/C blowing hard and their ceiling fans all going on high. We could have gotten our food 'to go' but with 3 small children that would have been a bigger hassle than enduring the cold.
There were six in our group. (3 children and 3 adults). Our bill was $57.00+. We wanted/needed 3 additional ZAXBY'S sauce. They would not 'give'it to us. They said we, "had to BUY them.". I objected and challenged their position and yet they held to it. I told them I do write reviews and would definitely express my displeasure publicly for others to know. Furthermore, I told them I would never set for in another ZAXBY'S ever. They said they were, "sorry." I said that sorry was not good enough.
We're passed by CHIK-FIL-A to go to ZAXBY'S. What a mistake! You can judge for yourself.
Lastly, the order taker charged us for two (2) NIBBLER meals when were wanted just one. And, the staff was constantly yelling to and at each other. It is difficult to enjoy a meal in the best of circumstances when the staff is yelling, laughing, cursing, etc. with/at each other. Poor training and management is responsible for this condition.
If this location makes it then it will be in spite of themselves and not because of good policies and excellent customer service. I expect they will not last much longer. If they don't it will be 'just desserts' that they brought...
Read moreGot in the drive thru at 12:45. Got to the speaker and no one answered, waited a while and no one ever came. I spoke a few times and no one answered. I drove to the window because all of the cars infront of me were gone at this point. I got to the window and told them I needed to order and they informed me I had to drive around and wait back in line, they don't take orders at the window(they apparently don't take them at the speaker either) after telling the employee I was not waiting in that long line again she slammed the window in my face and yelled MANAGER!!!! The manager was kind and took my order at 1:09 and asked me to pull forward and wait in spot #1. I waited until 1:30 and went inside. Upon entering I said I was still waiting and they asked what I ordered. No one seemed to be bothered that I was waiting, no one apologized for the wait. At 1:45 an hour after arriving at the store I asked for my money back. After asking for my money back the manager made my order. I ordered 2 kids meals and a wings and things. The young lady at the drive thru was extremely rude. The entire crew needs training in customer service. If your customer service is suffering this bad then the lobby needs to be closed and go drive thru only. I know it is hard getting employees these days but there was at least 7 people working and not a single one was polite. I don't mind waiting but the attitude with my wait is completely unacceptable. We ordered food via the Zaxby's mobile app. The order was placed as being a drive-through pick order. We arrived after the expected completion time by about two minutes and got into the drive-through line. We waited five to six minutes to get to the speaker to let them know that we had a mobile order. They asked us to get out of line and park in a curbside pick-up parking space. We said okay and parked in the said location. Thirty minutes pass and a woman walks over to us and presents someone else's order. After clearing up where that order went, we waited patiently for someone to bring us our order. At forty-five minutes, I call the phone number specifically used for notifying the restaurant about a curbside order and explain that we've been waiting for forty-five minutes. We wait fifteen more minutes for our food. An employee brought it out to us. We decide to check the order since we had been waiting a literal hour for a fast-food mobile order. They forgot one drink. Thankfully, an employee was walking by. I flagged him over to explain that we were missing one drink. He said no problem. Four to six minutes pass and he returns with the said drink.
