Every once in awhile, you hit a bad McDonalds. This one in Enumclaw is one of the bad ones. Went to the drive thru this Sunday Moring 8/14/22. Was headed to the dog show in Enumclaw. Wanted a quick cup a coffee and a sausage biscuit. I pulled up at 7:17. Nobody waiting in line and parking lot looked empty.
I placed my order, paid, and pulled up to the next window. Nobody was there. I'm trying to peak in and couldn't see anybody. I saw that the next window after this one was open. I pulled up there. Again nobody there. Now I'm confused. I backed up to the window I was just at to see if that's where I'm supposed to be. Still nobody there. Waited there a couple minutes to get acknowledged by someone. Checking side mirror to see if they are waving me back to the first window. Nope. Still not seeing anybody. I had to get to the show. I just left without the order I paid for.
Figured I would go on line later and report it. I just want my money back. The receipt had a website to go to and it gave me a "secret" code. They print the receipt on that thermal paper so its hard to read the number. I type in what I think the code is. Wrong. I tried it again. Still wrong. I tried it one last time and it blocked me. Now I can't even complain to McDonalds.

Edited 04/06/2023 the McDonald's app routinely has issues where it won't send the link to log in, the app freezes, or tonight my dinner was canceled on my drive to pick it up. No one has any idea why.
I cannot tell you how many times I have uninstalled the program. Clear the cash out of my phone. Reinstalled change credit card numbers. Everything and given once or twice a month if not more there's an issue. And when there's an issue, you cannot get any points added to your account from the store. The app is corporate and I understand the store is franchised and they've got their own pitfalls and everything but my god I can't. I probably have lost about 15,000 points in the last year by not having access to be able to order from the app and everything else and unfortunately they're not able to comp any. You know couple of free cheeseburgers here or there.

However, I do not agree with pulling to the side so the store can get a better drive-thru time than they deserve when my food isn’t ready, unless I’m ordering a large amount of food or something that isn’t “normal”. I ordered a 20 piece nugget and a large fry, I should not have to pull to the side just so you can pretend you finished my order in 60 seconds instead of 1:20. That’s bullshit and I won’t do it, I know how drive throughs work. I then saw every single car in front of me be asked to pull to the side and knew they were going to ask me. I politely refused and the worker proceeded to get aggressive. I told them I was not moving to help their drive through time and then they called the manager over and she proceeded to be extremely rude.
