4.95 stars. Had originally booked a few miles away at the Buckley Inn. The day of arrival learned the bridge connecting Buckley and Enumclaw had been damaged a few weeks back and no longer in use. This added 45 mins each way to our daily drive (would have normally been only about 5 mins). Rang Mike at Buckley...he was SO kind and helpful. He rang GH Enumclaw to see if there was space available for us to switch accommodations (same owner). We were able to do so without penalty...we were so grateful and relieved! Willow, at the front desk of GH Enumclaw, was incredibly personable and helpful. Our transition was seamless. To the room. It was well appointed with a great sized fridge, microwave, good lighting, plenty of towels and really comfortable beds with USB ports between them, plus space to spread out and feel quite a home. The internet connectivity was great! There were a couple of little glitches to which the staff attended to right away. The room was overall very clean excepting the floor which, while it looked fine, certainly could have used a wet mop. There was a small laundry facility very fairly priced, as well as an ice machine. Parking was easy and convenient...we could see the car outside our ground floor window. There was no road noise. If we are ever this way again, we...
Read moreJessica was front desk worker, She had my bf and I waiting in lobby pacing around for over 30minutes because she apparently had a brain fart. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong dates which was no big deal as she had a room available, yet she thought I was waiting around for a refund, which I was simply waiting for her to tell us the room was ready, which it was the whole time. The next morning, the fire alarms went off and we were woken by the fire department pounding on the doors looking for smoke, Little did we know, our room had a leak in it from the fire alarm/sprinkler and was dripping onto our belongings the whole night. Our overall experience was not a good one by any means, especially being as we weren’t even there for 10hrs. My bf did end up going to the front desk in the morning to tell them about our experience and we got a full refund as anyone should have received. I would not recommend this place unless you absolutely NEED somewhere to stay. They need many improvements, staffing...
Read moreWe stayed here this past weekend and let's just say that we will never stay here again. We stayed in this motel years ago and we didn't remember it being this bad. We hated the smell of the room. The pillows were so lumpy and flat; it was like sleeping on a laundry sack full of clothes. The walls are super thin and to top it off the people above us on the second floor made so much noise and it didn't stop until nearly 4am. We called the front desk to complain (our baby was sleeping) but that didn't seem to do anything but I won't blame that on the hotel, I think the occupants were just very inconsiderate. They didn't have a crib but accommodated us by giving us pillows to put around our son on the 2nd queen bed. It was the worst nights sleep we had out whole trip! I don't know if the other motel in town is better, but I would recommend staying in Auburn at the Best Western. Same price and A LOT better. And it's not...
