DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!!! If You’re thinking of going Here versus Any place else, Choose Here every single time, If You’ve not tried it yet, and are sitting on the fence, Go!!!!, Give it a try!!!!, My Husband works at the Hospital and I am a Well known local chef, His friends at the hospital told Him All about how incredible this was and Said that as a Chef I have to try it and see how incredible it is for myself, We went today, and the verdict is in, It’s Five stars all the way, as long as they don’t change anything, You’ll Love it!!!! I hope you all go out and give it the same try we did, and return often, so we can keep this incredible business going strong in Our Ephrata community, How lucky are we to have such a cool Asian fusion fried Chicken place, Because of the breading which I think includes some sort of rice flour combo, it’s so crispy, So buttery, juicy and deliciously good, If you’re a family of two or three get the big tray combo meal like we did, We did the two breast two leg two thigh and two drumstick meal with two sides and two biscuits and it was something only like $26 bucks!!!! You can’t beat this!!!! It’s truly unbelievable and the service was so spectacular, the owner has such a kind and welcoming personality and Helped us decide what we were looking to order, We had fun talking with Her about Brownie the dog, What a cute story of friendship for their family, The owner / Server was fabulous and should really be proud of Herself and Her family for what they’ve brought to our community, as a past restaurant owner I know how hard it is to keep going and you have to sell a whole lot of chicken just to cover the rent much less to make a rewarding living at the end of the day beyond breaking even, I hope The community really rallies around this so we can keep this nice restaurant, But you’ve all got to come out and show your support otherwise we’ll lose another restaurant, This place delivers the best around and really deserves our best as a community to Help keep them going, Keep visiting, tell everyone about it, and Share the positive reviews for them, J really want to see them succeed, Oh, and by the way order the Boba Tea for dessert, It’s so good, I really think You’ll enjoy it!!!! Thank You to the owner for working so hard and for giving this business and community and the two of us your very best, Your hard work is valued and you are appreciated so be proud of yourselves and please Continue to do well, We’ll be ordering again soon, and I know My Husband can’t wait until some special occasion at the hospital where He can order your food for the staff!!!!...

So I will absolutely start by saying that the place was a warm environment and the staff were attentive and friendly. The low score comes primarily because of the price to food quality and overall miscues when it comes to things like not having hot sauce at a chicken restaurant. The food took 30+ minutes to “prepare” and it was all over the place with temperatures going from cold to lukewarm and honestly we spent $70 where if we went to KFC down the street it would have cost $30 for more food prepared the same way in alot less time. Last but definitely not least is the taste of the food. Nothing had a style or flavor that made it worth the money they charged. With No sauces the most delicious thing I’ve eaten was the pickle on my chicken sandwich.
The Meal: The chicken sandwich was a basic chicken patty on a bun with lettuce tomato and the aforementioned pickle. The thigh was unseasoned along with the leg and again NO HOT SAUCE!! Lastly is the Fries which is honestly the reason I am posting this. If you want fries with cheese and bacon its $20 they dont put the price of this on the menu but for that amount you get cheese wiz and bacon crumbles… they also have BBQ chicken fries and… Well… they give you cold white meat chicken that goes on salads normally and then they pour BBQ sauce over the fries and then put cold chicken on top which makes the dish confusing because your tong gets cold and hot and the fries chill quickly so you have to eat it half hot half cold or everything just ruins itself.
Conclusion: Look if you want chicken and you want to support local restaurants like we do, go in and just order the chicken. Im going to say that if you want good flavor and sauces while staying at a reasonable price. in this area there is a KFC down the road its a better option taste, price and time wise, But they wont have that home...
Read moreMy mother and I had different food, so the review will be separated as such. The atmosphere was nice. There's a handicap ramp and a small set of stairs to get in. We were immediately greeted by someone at the counter upon entering, where we made our order. The atmosphere inside was nice. We ordered a bucket of chicken, some fries, and an angus burger. We were informed that the angus burger comes with a habanero jam, to which I said I did not want. They also went through any other dietary concerns of mine, which was great.
We were told the food would take 10-15 minutes. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, but it was nice and hot.
From my mother: "Better than KFC" were her sentiments on the chicken. She very much enjoyed the food, and recommends the place. Wants to return for more. The bucket was a bit too much on its own, so would recommend getting the 8 piece bucket meal instead.
From me: The angus burger was delicious. It didn't have cheese, and there was a bit too much pepper. I put a slice of American cheese on at home. It seems the burger was grilled? Either way, it was great, and I'll definitely be returning for more. I would recommend this place. The burger feels a bit pricey, but it's not fast food, and it's angus beef, so that's to be expected.
Overall, I give it 5 stars. I'll remember the cheese next time, and to salt/pepper the food myself to my taste. The chicken smelled wonderful, and according to my mother, tasted that...
