I like Jersey Mike's subs. I have no complaint about the food. But i think you need to retrain your employees on cross contamination. It's unsanitary to have someone cash you out, touching a dirty cash register with their gloves on.... and then cut your sub, and wrap it up using the same gloves. When i politely asked if the person who made my sub could cut it, and the cashier just jumped right in and did it... after he just cashed me and the woman in front of me out. I tried not to be a snob and ask to have my sub remade, but i told the cashier that it's really not sanitary to touch a cash register and then touch other people's food with the same gloves. he got smart with me and said "But i didn't touch any money" The reason i said something is because i can physically see how dirty the cash register is from my side.... so i imagine how it looks on his end. point is, retrain your employees to change their gloves if they're going to switch from making subs to cashing people out. Next time I'll ask to have my food remade. Or start going to another location...
Read moreGood subs. Nice menu. Fair value. The subs themselves are smaller in length than at most sub shops including Subway but cost about the same. The smallish size of the roll is somewhat offset by the fact that they are stuffed pretty full. However, I think the flyer I picked up said the regular size served 2. Hard to believe that. Jersey Mike's does handle keto friendly meals better than most sub shops - you can get any sub 'in a tub' without the roll and in practice this works better than the lettuce wrap that JJs uses to replace bread for their low carb offerings. Thankfully the menu has some different selections from other sandwiche places. The hot chicken filly was good and there were a few other versions of the hot thin chopped chicken - Buffalo and Chipotle. There was a line but it moved quickly. I think that the biggest draw back is price. Lunch for 4 is going to push towards $50 and those with bigger appetites may not be...
Read morewhile in the store I saw an older lady came in to order her sub. She requested the girl behind the counter to change her gloves , she refused. I watched her walk around warring and touching money and register with these gloves. She told the lady her gloves are clean. Then made the lady a sandwich she didn’t order ( she did this to are order too) the older lady said I order a ham ,she said oops I was making an Italian. The lady gave addittud when asking for lettuce. They got to the register (where she still kept gloves on and was touching cabs )where the lady said I would have gave you a tip if you would have just changed your gloves. Then she told this lady don’t come back with that addittud. For my first time experience it was not bad but also feel this whole situation could have been avoided if she would have changed her gloves....
