Hobby Lobby — Local services in Escanaba

Had a gift card that was given to me online. All that was needed was the card number which I had written down and it was a young girl waiting on me and would not take my gift card, claim they don't have the capability to type card numbers,. However I saw a computer run cashiering system at her register WITH keyboard and monitor. She looked young and more like she just didn't know how to do it by hand typing because I KNOW that pretty much EVERY place you go, they can type in your card info if the scanner doesn't work. She didn't know how and never bothered to offer or get a manager to help if she didn't know how. Would she have reacted differently had I had a credit card that the scanner didn't work instead of a printed gift card that was sent to me. I can assure it was a valid gift card, and if it was not, then her computer/machine wouldn't have accepted it, it would say invalid if it wasn't real. But she didn't even bother typing the numbers in to try. Very poor...

We were at hobby lobby yesterday and it's a very beautiful, clean store, nice help. The one thing we found very difficult there was they did not have any electric carts for shoppers who are handicapped and my husband and I both are elderly and have issues so we need at least one cart if not two. so I'm not sure if we're going to be able to come back or not because it was just too difficult without carts😢. I hope you seriously can see getting at least two if not three cards so that we with difficulties walking, etc. will be able to come back to the store. I will miss it I'm an avid Crafter. Absolutely a delight everytime I enter these establishments, I mean that without a bit of sarcasm. I could, I have, and I will again buy most of my home decor from this place. It is one of the last brick and mortar stores that I still enter on a regular basis. They have different sets of sales that primarily the same but rotate every few weeks. So if you see something there ya just gotta have, try to wait till it goes on sale. It's worth the 50% to have a little patience. Just check there website for the right sales and your in business saving half on an entire trip which I could easily drop a grand in here. Ever store is closed on Sunday no matter where the store is located so...
