Antonio's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Escondido

Just visited for the first time and used the drive through. The lady on the intercom told me to give her just a moment, so I did. I then sat at the intercom waiting to give my order for literally five minutes as all the cars in front completed their orders and left, and a line of cars piled up behind me. I spoke repeatedly into the intercom with no response.

Eventually I decided there must be something wrong so I pulled up to the window to try ordering there. I waited for another three or four minutes but nobody opened the window. I could see people right next to the window inside but nobody said a word to me. Meanwhile the same pile of cars was behind me again, meaning they had in fact ordered already yet for some reason nobody would even acknowledge that I was there. Eventually I got tired of waiting and left.

Very disappointed by this. A tip for you guys - if you want to sell food, you can’t ignore...

This is about the 15th time I have been here n I tell them multiple times how to make my food because I am allergic to certain things n about everytime I go they ruin my food. Yes they’re food is good but no matter how well you explain you’re order if it isn’t on the menu they are going to mess the order up. I read my order to them 3 times before paying n they still manage to mess it up I am no longer going there so I advise you that if you like editing you’re meals don’t go here. Won’t see me there again. Not only did my wife get bone in her California buritto but my carne asada fries fries are not cooked I bite into the fries it’s soggy it’s not cooked right. I’m getting in the car as we speak to go back I can’t keep not having...

The Best Mexican Food in Escondido?!! Been a customer since 1999 .. I usually order something different from the Menu depending on my mood.. today was Pollo Quesadilla, the Carne Asada is Very beefy- a great choice.. a delicious choice is a Machaca Burrito.. 3 rolled tacos with Gaucamole is Tasty..& don't forget the Carne Asada Fries... Order a Combo platter the Refried Beans are smooth and creamy & rice is flavorful and Fluffy.. finish your meal with a Hot, Chewy, Crispy Churro-- flavors change daily...
