I would give a one star but that feels a little too harsh, im just upset. Came in there excited to try the steak as i hadn't been to a steak house in a while, i shouldve just stuck to BJs across the street, lol! Went in and the dining hall looked pretty empty for the most part, but i was told it was a 10minute wait for that side so we sat in the bar area, we got our menus and ordered our drinks (4.25 each.) We got them, and we waited about 35 minutes, i flagged the waiter down and he noded at me but then it took an additional 15 minutes for him to get back to us, waiting on tables that came in after we did. I cannot blame him though, the other waiter on the bar side seemed to be incompitent and wasnt really doing his part at all; he over all seemed frustrated to even be at work and even went as far as to give us attitude when we said a dish wasnt ours. When we finally ordered we ordered the premium for 2 which is $114. it took 20 minutes to get my side salad (the plate was extremely cold and so was the fork, why?!), and then after that it took 15 minutes to get our actual entree, we didnt even get the full entree's. Our lobsters were missing and we had to wait for those to come out. But at that point we were both just frustrated and wanted to go home. The steak was the most bland mediocre steak i had ever had, no seasoning whatsoever, but i was so hungry i ate it all. The aspargus and green beans also had little to no seasoning and the butter to dip the lobster in was flavorless. The only good things were the Potato Skins, Loaded Baked Potato, and Mud Pie dessert which we ended up eating at home. Our bill came out to a total of $131 and we were there for almost 2 hours. Apearently the manager was also made to acknowledge all of this and yet pretty much nothing had actually been done about it. Since im a server myself and do almost everything at the restraunt i work at (dishes, handling money, making drinks, running food, taking orders, cleaning the restraunt, doing side work, making desserts, seating tables, taking phone calls, etc.) i tried to be understanding, but nothing could excuse the lack of hospitality here. A waste of time, energy, and money. We both agreed we will never go back to Black Angus again.

Read moreWe went tonight to celebrate with some friends from out of town. We were very disappointed the service was awful, the server (Matthew) was literally chatting up to the hostess for so long my husbend had to interrupt his conversation to remind him we had asked him for sweetener 15 minutes ago and we now needed refills too... we bussed our own salad plates and stacked everything for him at the edge of our table, when he came back he was holding refilled glasses and served them to us by holding them by the rim, he also had a tea pitcher tucked in his underarm to hold it, pulling it out of his underarm to serve us from it. When we pointed out that he shouldn't be serving someone by holding the glassware that way he bristled and stated nobody had ever called him out on that before. He ignored our table after that, never came back, we called the manager (jonn) after 45 more minutes, he made excuses about how buisy it was....ummm not really buisy, unless they are usually DEAD.... then mumbled about making it a teachable moment for the waiter.... The staff were not acting buisy, that is for sure... 3 other families left unhappy after an hour plus wait for food and bad service tonight. The hostess made grumbling noises when i took down names and she actually commented that everything got taken care of didnt it?? Yes the manager comped our meal...NO THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT ALL BETTER. The food was mediocre and half cold after an hour plus wait! If you're running behind the wait staff should let customers know that and be extra quick to refill and get whatever they can to smooth out the wait, and when the meal comes out it should be hot and fresh and worth the wait. This place was awful about it all. One woman said the same waiter told her after an hour plus wait that her food will be here when it gets here, and she had children with her... Another family walked out that said they waited two hours for food and still didnt have it, they said they had been there last week and had a very long wait then as well. The corporate offices need to look at this place, it looks new and nice but VERY POOR STAFF AND MANAGEMENT!!

Read moreWent there last night with my two daughters for girls dinner. The server was good checked up on us frequently. I don’t realize our steaks took an hour to come out but that’s ok because we had been eating our delicious appetizers and enjoying our cocktails which are delicious as well. The reason for my 3 stars is because the manager was absolutely gross. Looked like she just rolled out of bed with her hair looking crazy I hadn’t even realized she was the manager she was not presentable at all. They had a deal on the app for $15 dollars off a campfire meal for two. I forgot to mention that when they took my card to cash out, as soon as they brought my check I had realized it and asked if they could void it and recharge my card for the new balance after the $15 discount was applied. The server hesitated a little like she didn’t really want to ask the manager and then I realized why. This “manager” said she can not void the transaction but she could give me a $15 dollar gift card for the difference. We kept going back-and-forth until I finally said I just want it voided and recharged. Then she continues to tell me that the voided charge might be pending for three days and it’ll show two charges which I’m fully aware of I work with collecting payment voiding payments and refunding payments every day. She finally went ahead and voided the initial charge and recharge the new amount but it didn’t have to be that big of a hassle and hopefully she sees this review and cleans up a little bit especially representing what I consider to be a nice restaurant. So she initially lied when she said that she could not void the transaction because she did it anyway she was just too lazy to do it but by looking at her it made sense.
