Review of BRGR SHACK from Foodie
I recently visited BRGR SHACK, a newly opened establishment located at 2335 E Valley Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92027, and unfortunately, my experience raised significant concerns about food safety and handling.
From the outset, the management's approach seemed unprofessional, with poor food handling practices observed during my visit. It was alarming to see burgers that appeared to have pieces pulled off, raising questions about the quality control and hygiene standards being maintained. Such practices not only compromise the integrity of the food but also pose potential health risks to customers.
According to California health and safety laws, restaurants are required to adhere to strict guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of the food they serve. Given the concerning state of food handling at BRGR SHACK, I urge potential customers to exercise caution. It may be beneficial for local health authorities to conduct a safety inspection to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Overall, I hope that management takes immediate action to address these issues, as it's disheartening to see a new establishment facing such challenges. Prioritizing food safety and quality should be at the forefront of their operations.
In summary, these are my own opinions and suggestions: dining at BRGR SHACK is...
Read moreTook my boys yesterday to try before my 16yo son went to homecoming as he loves hamburgers. It is something new on our side of town and was worth giving a new local business a try.
My son loves cheeseburgers and likes to rate the different ones he trys when we go out as a family (just between the family). We were slightly disappointed with the burgers. 2 classics w/cheese and 1 w/no cheese. I could only eat half. He did not even finish his. My younger ate his hamburger. It was the flavor of the meat and dryness of the bun I think that threw us off or maybe the meat/cheese ratio.
If we do have a chance to swing by again, we do agree that we would try the kids burger and fries (1 order regular seasoning & maybe one just salt for my some that enjoys simple seasoning) as a single patty may do the trick. 3 burgers, 1 fry, 3 cans of soda and tip ran approx. $50.
I know people do enjoy the food at Brgr Shack and i am happy they like it. I don't want to deter anyone and hope all at least give it a try. Just sharing our personal experience.
The son who loves cheeseburgers told dad when he got home from homecoming that it was maybe a 3/10.
*We all did find that the fries were good though and the nice lady who rang us up and brought the food out was smiling and friendly and asked if...
Read moreI ordered the classic without onion, and mustard, and regular fries. Let's start with the fries they were hot and at first had good flavor. Maybe I should've eaten those first because after biting into the burger the flavor of the fries did not taste as good. The shack sauce was alright, but ketchup was better for the fries. Now the burger. For a smash burger there should've been some crispy edges which my burger had none! The only thing juicy about this burger was the grease that it was cooked in. I dissected this burger to try to find the juices which there were none. I tasted this burger after I dissected it, and the only flavor I've gotten was MAYBE a little salt, and a tad of black pepper no other seasoning on this burger. I give this place 0 stars due to the fact that it is a burger joint and 10.99 for a smash burger without any seasoning and no crispy edges bothers me. If this place can make money on burgers I should most definitely open up a burger joint and make thick juicy burgers seasoned to perfection.
Can't...
