This was one of the last places I decided to try before I move away from VT this week, and it was one of the best Thai places I have ever tried (not just in VT or Chittenden County, but of all of the Thai places I've tried in probably 5 or 6 different states). I usually order from Suvi's in Burlington (another Thai place in the area I would highly recommend), but because they were closed today, I decided to try this place since it popped up on Google for nearby Thai places (wasn't marked on my Apple Maps, so I assume this place is fairly new, but super easy to find anyway). The duck curry here is possibly the best I have ever had, tons of meat and the curry broth has so much flavor. I also ordered the crab rangoons (a little crispier than most I've ordered, but plenty of filling and also great flavor), beef tom kha (amazing broth, also one of the best tom khas I've tried and I always get tom kha at Thai restaurants), and shrimp fresh rolls (also a classic, super refreshing and really great peanut sauce). Portions are worth the money, the staff is super friendly, and takeout is ready pretty quickly. I wish I discovered this place sooner, and I'm sad I will probably only get to try it this one time, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone visiting the Burlington area or...
Read moreIn Burlington I Pick Thai, it's only 13 minutes to get there. Got there Thursday before 18:00 and only a table for 4 was occupied! The small restaurant have 6 tables for 2 and 3 that sit 4. The dining room was not busy but it was non stop for take out! This restaurant is a favorite around here. The young Asian server is timid but very friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming, the walls are well decorated, the bathrooms are clean and you will enjoy your time there. The fried rice is well presented, the Tom Kha chicken is 16 once of tasty coconut soup, filled with chicken and veggies. The spring rolls were deep fried! I don't like deep fried food but my partner loves them (mostly cabbage inside) served with a very sweet and sour sauce. The Broccoli Delight was perfect for a vegetarian. Not too spicy, not too cooked, just fresh veggies in a subtle tasty broth. I will Pick...
Read moreThis brand new Thai restaurant in Essex Junction is worth a look. I dined here with a friend for lunch. The Massaman Curry was very good. The Pad Si Ew noodles were to die for. They are the best Pad Si Ew I have ever had - soft and flavorful with fresh broccoli and large shrimp. The menu features so many authentic Thai dishes. Be sure to ask the wait staff for descriptions and help choosing. There's so much more than the basic offerings. The ambiance is like a cute cafe with a lively mural on the wall. It's clean. The service is extremely efficient and our meals came out piping hot. Parking out side is easy and plentiful. Not sure about wheelchair accessibility. Prices were a bit high, but definitely worth a try. I will...
