If I could give Cocoplum a 0 rating, I would. Our old dishwasher bit the dust a few months prior to our total kitchen renovation. Bad timing, but the salesperson sold me a top of the line Miele Dishwasher ($2,400) that could be delivered within a week or so. Paid the $200 delivery and Installation. Delivery people brought the dishwasher in, only to tell me that I didn't have the right electrical outlet! What??? The sales person never asked me about my electrical outlet, how was I supposed to know? The Delivery people left the dishwasher in our garage. Then, we paid a carpenter and an electrician to install the dishwasher, at our own expense. Called Coco Plum to ask for a partial refund, never got a call back. Dishwasher worked for a couple of years. Then it started having problems. Can't get it serviced by Cocoplum so we paid an appliance repair company to come out 6 times to solve the problem. Finally, we have had enough so, we call Cocoplum about the 5 year warranty. Well, turns out we didn't buy the Extended Warranty- as far as we know the salesperson never mentioned needing to buy a warranty. We are now in the market for a new dishwasher and ARE DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO BUY IT FROM COCOPLUM in ESSEX JCT.,VT. Such disappointing salesmanship, customer service !! Do not buy from the Cocoplum in Essex Junction- lots of other...
Read moreMy experience at Cocoplum has been nothing but disappointing and with that I will not return. I thank them for bringing to my attention what really bad service, attitude, professionalism and all around for shopping locally can do for the customer ! It's been 4 days so far and no call back as to the status of a repair individual looking into a issue with a 2 week old dishwasher! I did get a response from Cocoplum after numerous call on my part that she had call ed Kitchen aid and they will put it on a fast track! You would have thought that 'she's could have called me back with that info, but I didn't know about the bad service results at the time! To bad for the local customers! Also, the salesperson didn't know what they should have none to provide customers with correct information. I provided them with a model number and was sold something else! I was told that the 'only' difference was the handle model, not so! To bad for the customer for note doing more research that I would expect from a honest salesperson! And another issue with service is sending the customer to a service provider that doesn't service that model of dishwasher, what kind of game is that! I didn't know the rules of 'Cocoplum ' went I made my mistake of a purchase and wouldn't make that mistake again now that I know...
Read moreShould have known the customer service was going to be poor within the first 27 seconds of the confirmation call. "Roger" I believe was our contact who came to the house, and when I confirmed who I was on the phone, his response was "Can I talk now?" as if I was bombarding him with information (I had just confirmed our name, address and appointment time). When he arrived, he told my husband our filter wasn't "nearly clean enough" which was why our sensor on our dryer was constantly beeping. I have attached a photo of the old filter (LEFT) and new filter that "Roger" installed (RIGHT). I'm not an expert, but seems to me there is quite a lot more debris on the NEW filter he installed. Total cost for this visit was $300. Never once on the phone did "Roger" suggest we try purchasing a new filter (about $45) instead of paying the hefty $300 total fee for his visit. Service was rude at best. Suffice to say we'll start self-educating on dryer mechanics to avoid this...
