This place NEVER answers the phone for take out orders, and their website doesn’t work even though it says you can! They also don’t tell communicate to people when they’re closed even though online it will say they're open. I mean a simple sign on the door won’t kill ya! Great pizza however feels like a New York slice and friendly staff when walking in but extremely unprofessional service elsewhere and disgruntled don’t offer delivery if you don’t deliver! don’t offer takeout if you don’t answer the phone or you can’t online! just be honest. I love this place for pizza but their website doesn’t even have a menu under the menu option and no one answers the phone when you walk in you have to basically eye the person behind the counter to death just to get someone to acknowledge you. I’ve called before to place an order and sometimes they answer sometimes and sometimes they don’t sometimes they’re open sometimes they aren’t even though they say they are they do whatever they want to do! It’s disheartening because I love across the street I love supporting local business and they have amazing pizza but just HORRIBLE SERVICE if I can give negative stars for that I would. Food was good but it was NOT a pleasant place to eat your meal. My family and I stopped on a Saturday to have dinner and ice cream. As we were outside eating our ice cream while my son played on the small playground a person exited the building. He proceeding to walk away muttering “you better throw that in a trash receptacle you fat lazy b...” to my niece who had set her milkshake cover on the ground next to her while she ate it with a spoon. He then drove by the road adjacent to the playground area and yelled something about social media. There were several families present with very young children and this deeply saddens me that people out there can be so vile for no reason. Had said person not been a coward and stopped to ask if we were going to pick up after ourselves he would have received a polite response and everyone would have been happy. The poor couple with a toddler just learning to walk left promptly when this person made a fool of himself. I have lived in Essex Junction basically all of my 35 years and this simply blows me away.
