Joe's Crab Pot 🦀 — Restaurant in Eufaula

Stopped by Joes crab pot after my family and I had a boat day on Lake Eufala and boy was I glad we did. Large succulent shrimp, king crab, beef sausage and mussels, we were in seafood heaven. And the flavor was perfect. I had a salmon burger with fries and a side salad and let me tell u it wasn’t a processed salmon pattie, it was a whole piece of salmon and it was so good. For us to have been such a large party, they give u really large portions as well. It’s similar to Juicy crab but better because it’s not commercialize and they actually allow customization rather than up charging for substitutions or additions. They also have different menu items like the neckbone boil, fried fish, pasta, steak etc. There’s really something for everyone. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was pretty cool too. The owner, I think his name was Hal gave us first class service, he and his were attentive and they made us feel like we were family. He even helped the waitress wait in us. Let me preface by saying I am from the northwest and grew up on crab. I have spent many years in Florida also and had eaten crab from many restaurants up and down the gulf from Cedar Key down to Naples. Since my wife thinks crab is the best food on the planet I have been to many restaurants that specialize in crab.

This Joe's Crab Pot was the BEST I have ever had.

Who would have thought the best crab ever would be in Eufaula Alabama? When it came out in foam containers I was thinking here we go and where is the butter? Crab has to have butter and it wasn't there. So I thought. How foolish I was. Once I realized the carton was filled up entirely with butter and the crab had infused with that butter and all those wonderful seasonings they used. They had me.

I’m from Fort Myers FL and me and my mother was craving seafood. Now we were in Eufaula, Alabama. So we googled a spot and said it is what it is let’s try it. WHEN I TELL YOU🤤🤤. We both got the Khyla’s special. You had your crabs, sausage, eggs, potatoes, corn, shrimp, and neckbones. Yes NECKBONES.. something different. All I can say is, we go home to FL tomorrow, that I will travel to come back just to get more. Great atmosphere, great service, food beyond great, good, and delicious. Very affordable. Wayyy cheaper than back at home. Joes Crab Pot, y’all did your thang. Very satisfying. I am a seafood fanatic. Number 2 on my list.
