Uptown Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Eufaula

I've been a customer at Uptowns for a while now and have been pretty regularly every weekend. Here lately the atmosphere has shifted drastically. Last night we were there and it was so busy everyone was packing in to the point our waitress couldn't get away from the bar long enough to bring me a drink or check on us at all. We would spend 10 to 15 minutes trying to flag her down for a refill We love all the girls at Uptown and tip them very well because they're usually so diligent with tending to us. We are on first name bases with everyone. I asked my friend to get the check so we could leave because we weren't being serviced and the bar was soooo full we had people rubbing against us while trying to eat. 2 girls even stopped asking us for our food. When we finally check out and tried to leave we couldn't even get out of the door and down the side walk because there were so many people just loitering around the outside. I've been told and witnessed last night that local law enforcement are having to circle the area because of all the people hanging out in the streets and how out of hand and disrespectful the crowd can be. When first coming to Uptown it was laid back, busy, chill atmosphere with good music playing and occasional live music where everyone was having a good time. That isn't the case anymore it's being turned into a club by the locals making it harder and harder for us to be willing...

On last Friday, I decided to try Uptown Sports & Grill. When I enter I stated I wanted to place an order to go and the host direct me to the counter. The lady in the back said give me a minute so I ask the host for a menu. While looking at the menu a white couple walked in and the host showed them to their booth. Well the waitress came from the back walk up to the front and got two menus and went to the white couple table and ask what could I get you'll to drink. So I walk up to waitress and ask her how could you take their order first and I been standing her waiting on you. She was speechless so I toss my menu on the table and walked out. So I went across the street to El Jasico and I ask the host by chance do you know who own Uptown and she stated the owner here. I ask her could I speak to them and she said okay. After I was seated the owner came to the table and I told her what happen and she stated she was so upset. What bother me was our waitress she was upset because the owner had just holler at because someone walk out with paying but didn't have much to say about how the waitress in her other restaurant treated me. Please make this make sense. You only paying this waitress $2.00 and hour and you take a percentage from their tips......so do you think the...

We went to Uptown to watch a football game. The bar area was full so we sat in the restaurant side. The TV's that are above each both are so high that you have to watch the one across the room or crane your neck to see the one in your booth. We were seated in a booth initially and moved to a table in the middle of the room to be more comfortable.

My husband had to order his third choice for beer, every though his second was listed in the beer list... and the server didn't know they didn't have the first or second choice.

We ordered loaded fries for an appetizer and the cheese sauce was overwhelming. The fries themselves were tasty but there was about twice the cheese sauce than was necessary.

We both ordered burgers and they were good. We did have to ask for condiments to be brought (in packets) after we had the burgers, even though our server has told us they would be served on the side.

We went home at halftime and finished watching the game in comfort with...
