1st time visiting. My coworker friend brought a sandwich in for his lunch and I was really enamored by it, so I had to try it. Got the full boat (large 12"). It was really delicious. I could normally eat Subway equivalent in 1 sitting, but I think I might have to refrigerate the other half. Cashier was super friendly and patient. Will have to come back again.

Super friendly and enthusiastic staff. Family owned. Price quality serving size beats the pants off corporate competitors. 10$ foot longs what?

IF YOU KNEW WHAT A REAL SANDWICH WAS, you’d already be eating at the Sub Shop. Best sandwich in town.

But maybe you prefer your bread with the bounce of a yoga mat? Eeks. Just don’t pretend that chain slop is food.

The people at Sub Shop are friendly and fast... and it's local. Do I need to tell you why that's better, snowflake? Because it's run by real people, not bean counters in suits who will cut every corner that you can't see and tell you it's food they're serving you.

And when they reopened? They didn’t pull a “reimagined menu” on us. They stuck with what works. Because it was already good. We don't need some 2.0 nonsense. And they're not reimagining the very notion of food like the chains.

Yes you do have choices in the area, sure. If you hate yourself. There’s the rubber bread factory sandwich chain I mentioned, the chicken place serving Franken-weirdness with a side of sauce, and for some reason, people still line up at Starbucks like their sad little egg bites are anything but microwave-grade trash.

So eat at the Sub Shop. Or don’t and keep pretending you like...

This is a plea.

Please return to the original recipes.

Sub shop is an institution. I've been eating the same sub my whole life and my mother and grandmother before me.

It's a delight to find a town with a sub shop. You know the food and vibes will be excellent.

We were so excited you opened back up.

We've tried your food and were originally put off by the oddness but decided to give it a few more chances as you were getting your feet underneath you.

Look, avocado delight is seasonings mixed and mashed with avocado and cream cheese. A thick layer of that mixture on the sub. With veggies and cheese.

It was problematic that the avocado and cream cheese were kept separate but the very fact that you asked me if I would like mayo mustard on the sub and I said I want it as it comes and then you proceeded to put mayo mustard on the sandwich leads me to believe you've never ever eaten a sub sandwich Avocado Delight.

It does not nor has ever contained mayo as a separate condiment.

There are a few issues with the makeup of the other sandwiches but this was the...

Used to love this place before they closed originally and was excited when it opened back up. There have definitely been some changes, which is to be expected. The first time we went back it was almost as good as it used to be, however it’s continued to change and worsen over time. For starters they changed the bread. It was flavorless and dry. Length wise was smaller and much more narrow making all of the filling spill out, causing it to be very difficult to enjoy. The quality just felt cheap. Most importantly one of the workers came out of the bathroom WITHOUT WASHING THEIR HANDS walking all the way into the food prep area before using the sink. Also witnessed two other customers comment about feeling uncomfortable with the chosen music in the restaurant containing quite a few expletives and not wanting to stay at or return to the...
