Today 1/12/17 I was THREATENED, disrespected and embarrassed by the manager of the West 11th store location. First of all I want to make it clear that I still love subway, but will never go to this location ever again nor would recommend it to anyone. Last night I placed an order online for pick up the following day at 1:15 pm due to my tight schedule. When I got there I noticed that the drive thru was backed up so I parked and my daughter and I went inside the store. Inside there was also a line of people waiting for their turn to order. There was 1 (one) person working, he was on his headset making a drive thru order. The people in line all looked agitated but still waited patiently, since Iâve already ordered my food hours in advance I thought to myself âwow thank god I ordered mines alreadyâ. I went straight to the register that said online pick up order. I waited in line and after a few minutes another guy finally comes from the back, walks back to the back and comes out with another guy. One of the guys (the manager) finally approached me and said can I help you?. I replied Iâm picking up an order placed 10 hours ago, he looked behind him and found my order receipt laying on the counter. He then tells me that my order is not ready due to busy hours, I told him âok so what is the purpose of ordering it in advance with a specific time if i still need to wait till they can squeeze my order inâ he didnât like the confrontation so he started being rude to me saying (in an aggressive tone) Iâm sorry but itâs busy hours, I can refund you and make your sandwich next. I took his offer and stepped aside, after waiting 7 minutes one of the employee said âwhere is the receipt with her orderâ the manager said I gave it to you to the person about to make my sandwich in which he (the manager) lied coz he in fact gave me the receipt. I walked forward and said here is the receipt he gave to me. All along I was in the thought that my sandwich was already in the oven being toasted but actually hasnât even been started. The employee then started to make my sandwich with the wrong bread so of course I approached him and said âI thought my sandwich was already being made and if thatâs my sandwich itâs on a wrong breadâ. The manager steps in and says to me in a very loud and mean tone âYOU KNOW WHAT I REFUNDED YOUR ORDER SO GET OUT OF MY STORE IM KICKING YOU OUT 2xâ of course I was in shock and in total disbelief that was happening. I stood my ground and answered âwhat do you mean your kicking me out? you offered to refund me and make my sandwich now your kicking me out because your employee is making my sandwich wrong?â. He didnât like my respond so he started yelling at me louder infront of everyone saying he was gonna call the cops if I didnât leave, I yelled back âFOR WHAT?â He went on his phone trying to call the cops I guess and the person behind me stepped in and said âdont call the cops, why would you call the cops when she did nothing wrong im a witness?â. I demanded to talk to a manager and he said he was the manager so I insisted on talking to another manager or have a corporate number. He then says he was gonna call his boss himself so I said i wanted to speak with the boss as well. After he explained a half ass BS story to his boss in front of us he hangs up and wouldnât even let me talk to her so I said why didnât you let me talk to your boss I want her number. He gave me the number and said he was gonna make my sandwich per his boss! He started off with âwhat kind of bread do u want?â I replied âmy order is in the receipt with everything you needâ he said he didnât have the bread I ordered so I said ok whatever you have I just want to get out of here. Mind you the whole time he was making my sandwich he continued talking saying that I was rude to his employee and that he gave me back my money. I was shaking, upset, embarrassed, humiliated and angry that I started to tear. The nice guy behind me pulled me aside and said âhe was at wrong, donât let someone like him pull you downâ.    Read moreThis evening I went to grab dinner and went through the drive thru. While I went by in the opposite direction due to the whole parking lot being blocked by a huge truck. Passing by I see two of the only workers at Subway hanging out outside the back door. I sat in the drive thru for awhile and no one came over on the speaker to greet me then take my order. I waited and waited, saying hello and nothing. Silence. I decided to go around and inside the establishment. I go inside and tell the younger worker that no one is answering the drive thru, she seemed confused when I told her this. Neither of the ONLY workers had on their headsets to hear when a car approachs the drive thru, making the convenience of a drive thru non convenient and having to go in to get my order. The lady worker did not care at all, with a disgusted look on her face she disappeared into the back and left. As I saw her grabbing the heatsets to take the order of the lady that had been waiting behind me in the drive thru. She did not speak to me again and couldn't even looked at me. She procrastinated enough in the back room to the point where she didn't have to serve me or take my order. The other worker took my order and as she heard the conversion and did not care as well. The customer service when there is a mistake needs work and to be handled better. Neither of them gave a offer to apologize for the long wait or inconvenience of their lack of being prepared. I will not be returning my business to this Subway AGAIN. This is the last time this particular Subway location has been less than disappointing and the food is sub-par.    Read moreI wish I could give atmosphere and service 0 stars. I have had my simple orders messed up on multiple occasions but this experience was the worst experience Iâve ever had. The drive through guy was not very kind and messed up my order and had to ask me multiple times to clarify and still managed to mess it up. I got home and realize the mix up and I called and kindly asked for them to remake my sandwich so I can swing by and pick up the corrected one. The guy on the phone took my order. Didnât apologize and hung up. When I showed up, this lady with blonde hair chose to ignore me. She eventually said she will be âright with meâ and continued to clean and move things around . The guy who initially helped me in the window was staring at me multiple times and didnât say a word. I stood there for about 5 minutes waiting when I can visibly see my made sandwich on the counter waiting for me. When the lady was finally ready to help me, I told her I was picking up a sandwich. She says âwe donât have any sandwiches for pick upâ and I then told her I was there to pick up a corrected sandwich that was messed up. She then snatched the sandwich off the counter and pushes it to me aggressively. I then snapped and told her to include the chocolate chip cookie I paid for. She then wanted to argue with me that that wasnât apart of the order. Iâm just so disappointed with the customer service I received. I use to work for fast food and I understand situations where the customer isnât always right, however, I was right. Treat me with kindness and respect. Not to mention, I left them a tip!
