Green's Texas BBQ — Restaurant in Euless

The BBQ gods smiles on this day. We were driving and looking for a new place to try. I saw this place and even though it is a trailer on the side of the road the smell called to us. We tried the brisket, pork belly, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, brisket-biscut, and peach cobbler. Lets start with the negative. the baked beans were OK, but nothing i would do agian. I had high hopes for the potato salad and was a little let down but it was ok. the place is a little hard to find and there are no tables. However, that did not stop us from eating in our car since we were just traveling through. but if you are doing take-out you most likely don't care. With that out of the way . . . . . . . WOW. The brisket was outstanding juicy, moist, great color, good smoke ring, not super fatty but a good crust on the outside. the rub had a good spice but did not overpower the meat. The ribs were just as good, not "fall of the bone" but you don[t want that, you want a little bit of chew to the meat. They had a good smoke ring and great flavor. The brisket-biscut was crispy cloud stuffed with love. I am glad we only got one to try with our group because they are addicting. he peach cobbler was very good. not super sweet but a nice flavor. I saved the best for last. If you have never had smoked pork belly then you have no idea what you are missing this was outstanding with flavor that is making my mouth water as I type this. I had passed this establishment for awhile. I had heard about it for awhile. I’ve seen the lines and decided to wait. I missed it several times because they are open one day and only til 3pm on that day, Saturdays. I got a chance to stop and I see why people love it! This outlasted is cooking from the heart. He will literally tell you what to try and what to come back for, for whatever reason. That is refreshing! He suggested his ribs, bacon burnt ends and the brisket stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon. I’ve been in Texas nearly 5 years and this is da absolute best bbq I’ve had. Everything was smoked to perfection, moist and tender. I had a three meat plate and everything was amazing but those ribs stole my heart. The sides were just as good the beans were just a tad too vinegary but still great and the potato salad was beyond amazing.
