Luckily the sandwiches were reasonable. Nothing else was though.
Ate and gtfo or I would have the receipt to reference. We came in today just before 5pm. Got off the highway with an 18mo in need of a diaper change. Three adults, two women and one man. Check your cameras and receipts for reference? 6- add onions, 6- add onions, pickles and jalapeño crunchies, 7- as is comes, bbq chips and medium drink.
Very gross bathroom no changing table. Off to a poor start. Changed him on a booth table. Informed the staff to ensure they’d sanitize behind us. As of leaving the restaurant they did not.
Ate in a different booth. The soft drinks were all off. Tried coke, diet, sprite and cherry cola. Waste of money in the soft drink.
Music inside was super loud and not really family friendly, though I couldn’t reference the exact song or artist. It was more of a party scene vibe than background music for a chain sandwich shop in the late afternoon.
Walked the dog out behind the building before getting back on the highway. Noticed a large bong set up in the back and observed several uniformed employees (and additional people - staff? Friends?) passing what appeared (and smelled) like a joint back there. It’s all making sense now why things were not cleaned and sorted inside the restaurant.
We are on long road trip, our expectations are pretty reasonable as we go to Jimmy John’s a lot, use the app etc. We should have done so today but we were flustered and disoriented once the bathroom was not suitable for adult use let alone a diaper change. Not expecting compensation, simply hoping that this location gets a little clean up from corporate or management though since it’s super convenient for our family trips and it’s the not-subway/not-deep...
Read moreI went in there with my parents almost an hour before they closed. Instead of being greeted, we were told that they were closing the dining area in "three minutes". The kid working at the counter was polite and let us look over the menu a bit before ordering, but the guy who I can only assume was the manager on duty was very curt and rude to us. My mom (having never been there before) asked if they could warm up the bacon on her sandwich, as the kid went to answer her the manager cut him off and told her no and then asked her to place her order. This irritated me so I asked what time they closed, he told me they closed in 35 minutes and then stared at me. Didn't you just tell us you closed in "three minutes"?? If this were a sit-down restaurant I would understand the time constraint. But it is a sandwich shop that is known for its quick service. He threw our sandwiches together, didn't offer and bag or napkins nor did he thank us or say goodbye. We promptly left and as we drove away I noticed that they had already shut off the lights to their drive thru menu as well. I've worked in retail/service industry and I get it that you want to go home but there is no reason to rush your customers out the door. If you were truly closing in "three minutes" we would not have even bothered...
Read moreSorry to say that due to the individuals attitude I just spoke with at the Eureka location, they just lost a large order and possibly our future business. We have used Eureka Jimmy John's for our catering needs in the past and have been completely satisfied BUT today when trying to setup something a day in advance I was told that there currently were no delivery options. Okay, I completely understood since help is hard to find. However, I was also told that this individual was the only one working in the whole entire place and could not take my order for pickup. Okay, again I understood. I asked when would be a good time for me to call back? I was told "Well that's up to you. I just can't do it right now". Okay, so again, when is a good time that you are perhaps slower. Response was pretty much "I'm here by myself till 2:30 so before 2:30 click (hung up). I get that this individual was upset about being there solely by themselves and kudo's to them for at least showing up and being there but this could have been handled differently and does not excuse bad...
