Got there around 6pm. Only 4 other tables of people there, not packed. We sat ourselves at a table right in front of the dessert counter where the waitresses walk through. I was with a group of 5 adults and one child. We all ordered drinks at the same time. The other two women in my party got the big Bloody Mary with everything on top and I got a Long Island. They got their drinks before I did and as I’m asking where my much simpler drink was, I see it on the bar with a puddle of water under it which means it sat there for a while and the bartender yells at the waitress telling her they need to pay attention. The waitress walks up to our table and says “is any one waiting on a drink?” So they didn’t even know where it belonged. So disorganized and careless. Then everyone at the table got their food but me (I ordered a freaking cheeseburger). When they were about halfway done with their food and I still had not received mine I stopped one of the two waitresses to ask and she said she would go check meaning “I have no clue” shocker. I stopped the other waitress and told her to cancel it. The one I originally asked came back and told me they took my food to the wrong table and were going to have to make me another. At this point my party was done eating. I told her to cancel it and take it off my bill. They made no apologies and didn’t even try to make up for the situation that was their fault. I will never go back and do not recommend to anyone. The service was absolute crap and I can’t even comment on the damn food because I never got any, but you can ask the other 5 people I was with they got theirs. I left hungry and went to White Castle. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I hated my experience. Also my friend got the macaroons and said it tasted like they were old and they were very crunchy and hard to where he didn’t...

If you go on a Sunday, I suggest you get there before 11 or call in with a reservation, especially if you have a party of 4 or more.

We looked online at reviews and decided to pop in and try it.

We went in first impression was what a neatly decorated place it looked.

The young man who was first helping up and taking our drink order was FANTASTIC! It appeared that everyone of the service staff worked together, which I thought was nice. Always had a full cup of coffee.

It started getting busier, and we had a young lady take our order and became our sole server.

My husband wanted his go-to B&G. I wanted scrambled eggs with bacon. Now, in 50 years, I've only eaten and always order my eggs scrambled. WELL DONE. Today was no exception to my order.

Our food came out. Looked great, except my undercooked eggs. My husband really liked his B&G with the exception of the temp of the gravy. He said it was just above room temp.

I sent my eggs back immediately, I don't believe my request to cook them longer was harsh, or my asking was rude toned, but we did get a disturbed look from our server. This is why we didn't say anything about the gravy temperature.

I waited over 10 minutes for my eggs. Which came back with lots of dark brown overcooked areas, the rest of my food was cold. Ever try to butter or eat cold toast?

We were never offered more coffee. Nor did the waitress come back except to bring my check.

We will go back for 1 more try. Because other than the egg and gravey temp, the food was flavorful. I have my eye on the chicken and waffle, lol

I did not notice a handicapped entrance. And the steps are a...

In hindsight, we we're SO happy that Denny's wasn't open! We were in town overnight to go to Six Flags and made a plan to get up and have breakfast at Denny's--which seemed like our only option--before spending the day at SF. Before leaving the hotel, I had done a quick Google search for ANYTHING else and found Sarah's. From looking online, we weren't 100% certain they served breakfast. Looked to be more of a bakery from what I could find, and the online menu I found gave no clue. Saw a photo of a waffle, but no indication on the menu that there was breakfast food (plus it said they were running a limited menu). So we decided to stick with our original plan to go to Denny's. As luck would have it, they were closed. So we decided to venture on over to Sarah's. We were SOOOO glad we were forced into this choice. Not only did we find that there is a little more to Eureka than the frontage road that runs by SF, we discovered a fabulous little cafe that we will visit again sometime later this year. The breakfast potatoes were OUTSTANDING. The coffee was delicious. The atmosphere was really neat and the baked goods looked like they were to die for (I was forced to be good). The four of us had just the right amount of food in an era where many places serve way too much mediocre food that we just eat because we paid for it. 🤷‍♀️ The lunch menu specials looked unique and I would guess would probably be just as good. Service was good as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something besides the fast food chains when you are in...

We stopped by Sarah’s On Central in Eureka to check out why they were crowned Best Brunch in West County, and let’s just say—this spot did not disappoint. (Find the poll on the West County Social facebook group) Here’s the best part—you don’t have to wait for Saturday or Sunday to indulge in the best brunch around. They’re serving up those brunch vibes Wednesday through Sunday! Since we were working (sigh), we didn’t get to enjoy one of their famous cocktails—but if you follow their socials, you already know their mimosa flights and over-the-top Bloody Marys are next level. (I was able to get a picture of their big Bloody Mary...omg) But back to the food—because WOW. Nathan ordered the Central Benny with fresh fruit, and I went full comfort mode with the Chicken Fried Steak, drenched in sausage gravy and served with breakfast potatoes, eggs, and toast. We sipped on a virgin Bloody Mary and an iced white chocolate latte. Perfection. This place is the real deal. Go ahead and bring a friend or two, get you some brunch, order the Ballpark Bloody Mary. You deserve it—even if it’s on a random Wednesday.

We drive 40 minutes to have lunch at this place and we’re there at 12:30. We added our name to the waiting list as they did not close until 2. We waited outside and nothing. No one came out to tel us we were next. I then looked at the text they sent when we checked in and it said no parties ahead of us. I then walked inside and said I think we are next. The owner or manager interrupted me and said sorry we can’t seat you. I showed her that we were on the list ( mind you it was only 1:20 and they close at 2) and she was very rude and said sorry no seats and we can’t help you…. Again it’s 1:20. Didn’t offer to take a to go order or anything just rudely said can’t help. No options nothing just can’t help. Again it’s 1:20 and they say they close at 2. Food might be good but service from the owner is terrible. I won’t be going to this place ever. Terrible experience!
