Well, the staff was nice enough, and the food was okay, but it really lacked any heart.
We got one order of nachos to split, and three of something that was just a trumped-up burrito (though, we deciphered that from the menu description), as well as some margaritas.
We were happy when the nacho plate came out pretty big, but it wasn't stacked well. Most of the chips were buried with nothing on them, and the ones at the top were too coated to be able to pick up. Maybe 10% of the chips had a decent balance of finger room and delicious cargo. They also only brought us two tubes of sour cream, despite there being three of us.
Then the margaritas came. In plastic cups. Not a classic margarita glass, a boring old cup. On Cinco de Mayo. C'mon, if you're going to have margaritas, do it right. I personally didn't like it, but it was drinkable. The other two at the table, who have had more experience with margaritas, said they were "very middle-of-the-road."
Finally, we got the main course. The burrito-things. They were delicious, but all three together weren't even the size of our single shared nacho plate. I mean, these things were about half the size we expected, and only came with some rice. I would've been happy if they even just included more rice with it, because what little we did get was quite good.
After all that, everyone at the table was feeling pretty underwhelmed. Then the waitress dropped off the check and walked away. We had planned to split it, but we were really ready to leave, and nobody had cash on them, so one person ended up footing the bill. I don't think the waitress noticed, but this caused a fight, and all-in-all, everyone had a bad time.
So yeah, long story short, the food was good, the staff was friendly, but it takes more than that to make a good restaurant. All these little details being wrong added up to a night that was neither relaxing nor enjoyable.
It would take some serious convincing to get...
Read moreI don't usually post a review based on 1 visit. This place has great wings. So placed an order for pickup and was told 40-45mins. 45 minute ticket times for a kitchen is unacceptable. But Ok, no problem. Showed up 40 mins later and total time turned into an hour. Wings were good. Let the time thing slide. 2nd time place wasn't as busy and wings were also good. This last time, tried to call in an order, no answer, called again 10 mins later and finally someone picked up the phone. Since I was on the way home when I called, I showed up in the parking lot while wrapping up the order. Showed up, told hostess I'll wait at the bar. Ordered it drink and watched as to-go orders were being sent out and picked up. There was 1 order just sitting there, I figured someone would notify me and didn't pay much attention to it. (figured it was someone else's order) after about 10- 15 mins after my pickup time, I went to hostess to inquire about my order. "OH here is your order" which was the one sitting there for 15mins. All I got was "sorry, been busy with guests and phone" (and apparently every one else's orders) So after all that, I get home and the wings aren't the same as the other times. These were tiny crackhead wings with barely any meat on them. 35.00 for the worst wings that were just the same low quality as all the other sports bar wings The reason I put up with the bad service and long ticket times was because their wings were really good. I will not be making a 3rd trip or buy anymore wings from this place. Management is non existent and staffed with a skeleton crew. Whoever manages this location obviously hasn't managed any successful restaurant and more like...
Read moreThe waitress Kia was very plesant and atentive. That service uped the place 1 star. My father and I had the pork chop entree. When the arrived the appearance looking terrific but when I cut into mine 2/3rds through was still raw and half of the one my dad was presented was raw as well. Both were sent back to the kitchen to cook more. The second time around I cut into the thickest part and it was still half Raw but my dad said his appeared to be okay. By this time mine was completely charred on the bottom but it was sent back to the kitchen again. Instead of preparing a new chop ptoperly, they attempted to cook the now 5 piece chop farther. I received my multi chop back once again and again I cut the thickest piece in half and still 1/4 was pink. The smaller pieces seemed cooked through and I questioned weather it was okay to eat and I know now I made a poor choice. An hour later I've been paying for it with gurgling stomach and unpleasant restroom visits. I'm convinced the cook isn't qualified to cook pork nor thought to use meat thermometer. My mom had the fish and chips and asked that the fish was thoroughly cooked. Though outside batter was nice and crispy the fish inside was wattery and soggy. She's not one to complain so she just didn't eat much of it. Not sure if this was a localized bad experience but probably won't be going back to eat there anytime soon. On a positive note several months earlier I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was very good and for $12 the portion was...
