This was the worst example of customer service I have ever experianced. I was told the pizza would be delivered in 45 minutes an hour and a half later the delivery driver called to tell me he would not deliver my pizzas, if I wanted them I would have to meet him at a gas station. Apparently I was a quater mile outside their area. The driver was rude and arrogant ,but happy to inform me he was the owners son so basically could do as he wished and he refused to deliver my pizza. I called back got someone who said they were the manager and again was told I was outside their area (something they should have known when I called) and there was nothing that could be done about the drivers attitude because he was indeed the owners son. It was their mistake , they should have honored their commitment delivered the pizzas and maybe told me the next time I would have to come to the store..ok no problem..or called me right back and told me I was outside their area and would I mind coming there..again no problem but to wait an hour and a half and then call me with an attitude like the mistake was mine is unacceptable. I was told I would receive a refund, I will keep checking my account because I have no reason to trust them. In the end we purchased a pizza from DEL FRANCO in Tavares and it was very high quality, reasonably priced and delicious I highly recommend them..STAY CLEAR OF HUNGRY...
Read moreI don't know if this is anybody else's experience but this is definitely mine...I absolutely love Hungry Howie's pizza and it's my definite go to meal for me and my kids when I don't feel like cooking...but I have noticed the past two times on ordering pizza something is off the dough is not good anymore in the pizza sauce is extremely acidic and they don't put enough cheese on the pizza... I know there is new management and I tried to talk to them and tell them that I noticed the change in the pizza and the person I spoke to insist that is the same recipe and it's NOT and if it is... then they don't make pizza as well the other people that owned it... They made it way better unfortunately they have lost me as a customer and I will have to find another pizza place I can't stomach their pizza anymore and I tried it twice after New Management...and if customers are trying to tell you that they notice a change in your pizza and is not going over well then I think they should learn to listen otherwise they will lose a lot...

When we called to complain, and asked for the manager, we were told the "manager is my mother. She's not here, she had to go to the store and will be back soon" Really? Where she have to go at 10:00 at night, when the store closes at 11? Perhaps to get more bread?! We complained we did not get the advertised flavored crust. the response: "I'm sorry you didn't get your FREE flavored crust." Okay, how about we never call you again or patronize your establishment?" The response: "Okay". We are both in sales and this is completely unacceptable. Makes me wonder what the silent partners of this franchise would think; perhaps they would not be so "silent", knowing these POSs are literally draining money and killing their rep. You SUCK.
