I was excited to try this as many people in the area have told Me it’s great. I’m guessing it depends on your definition of great and your expectations. For me and my husband we did not enjoy the food. Whatever oil they use for the fries and onion rings it’s not good. We orders a 6 inch and foot long hot dog. It was overcooked and super soft and had too much sauerkraut and relish making the bun soggy (not steamed like a traditional Coney Island dog). The hot dog was very disappointing as were the onion rings we didn’t like them and they went in the trash. The triangle fish on a bun was horrific! It was all breading and frozen and the presentation was sad. There is plenty of seating and they have a...
Read moreWe have been here before and it was great but unfortunately we will not be returning. We love supporting local businesses amd want to keep that up. All the workers looked miserable. We gave our order, and it came out and was completely wrong. We told them. It came out again and was still wrong. We got a coney short and chili long. The first time, it was backward. The second time, we got a short chili and a long Chicago dog. The fries were cold. Went for a refill and waited 10 minutes, and no one acknowledged us. Didn't even get one. $25 for this service. It's definitely not worth it. Also if you don't like the job don't be there. You make the place even...
Read moreTried the large Chicago Style Dog, not bad but very messy. Relish was watery and the bun pretty soggy, hard to keep it together. They overloaded the hot peppers though, don't mind one here and there but there was wasted at least 7 or 8 peppers left that I didn't eat. Next time tell them hold the peppers. Fries were average, they could use some improvement but not a deal breaker. Inside looked nice and clean. Drove by there countless times before someone said there a hot dog joint on 441. Former C Store, sits pretty far back off the road. Could use better signage. Will be back whenever I have a taste for a dog now that I've...
