Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Evans

I used to love this place but unfortunately I just found out that the cakes are not made fresh. They let them sit for up to five days before serving them. I was really disappointed to have this conversation with the owner over the phone. We paid over $65 for cakes and wanted to pick them up a little bit later than planned but because of their very tiny selection of hours, we are unable to. Susan the owner did not offer any help in trying to fix this problem. She very easily could’ve said we will make sure they stay fresh or remake them for you so that they are fresh and instead she was not helpful at all. In addition to speaking over me and telling me that they were “ made 30 minutes ago “ and “if I had called anytime before, that they could make them fresh for me on monday” when they opened again. but because I didn’t meet this small window of time, there was no guarantee that they could be fresh. So disappointing! This will definitely be the last time I order from them which is really disappointing because the cakes are very yummy, but the business & customer service needs a lot of improvement. I went to pick up my daughters graduation cake and I also ordered balloons. The balloons were not ready, as well as the bow was the wrong color on top of the cake when I arrived. I placed this order several days in advance online. I had to show her my confirmation email to show the correct color, like she doubted I had chosen a different color than they put on the cake. I am a repeat customer and have ordered two tier cakes on several special occasions! This time, since there were 2 errors I was VERY disappointed since I had to wait for the errors to be corrected and was on a time crunch. The manager gave me a buntlet to pacify my concerns, but I feel that she should have handled it differently. I might have to go back to traditional cakes!

The corporate manager did call me and advised me that I should communicate again with the manager and she did rectify the situation and gifted me a 10” cake and 10 balloons to use at another occasion and I greatly appreciated that. Extremely disappointed with my cake pick up today. Paid for extra icing on my online order, total was right at 50 bucks for one bundt cake with extra icing. And then called up to this store to verify that double icing could be added. Was told" Absolutely ma'am " I come to pick up and when handed the bundt cake I informed the young man working it didn't have the extra icing. He took the cake back, shortly after a young female came out and informed me she couldn't add extra icing..I let her know that's not what an employee told me but I'm willing to pay any extra fees again for extra icing. She tells me No and it must have been some new employee that gave me wrong information but they cannot add extra icing to a cake that supposedly has extra icing. I then offered to pay for the icing and take it home myself and add it since they couldn't. She told me No. They wouldn't sell me extra icing either. Fifty bucks for one bundt cake and numerous offers to pay even more for double icing and ended up walking out with a cake that in my opinion has no extra icing at all.
