Firehouse Subs Evans — Restaurant in Evans

I bought a Large Club on a sub cold last night and it was terrible tasting. The meat did not taste good at all. I couldn't even eat it, I had to throw it in the trash. Before then, I bought a cold sandwich wanting everything it normally comes with on it. They gave me a sandwich with meat and cheese only. I asked them to remake it since I had already eaten a few bites when I realized it wasn't made correctly. They took the sandwich I had eaten off and put mayo and all the other toppings on it and handed it back to me. I'm not sure how they made it, but it took me a while to go back seeing as how Covid is out but they take an already eaten sandwich back in where they are handling other food and smear sauce and toppings on it . I wondered about the way they made other people's food after this incident and thought it may be unsanitary. 2025-05: Came in to grab some lunch and dine in. The restaurant was clean, we were greeted immediately, the employees were pleasant, and our food was really quickly and tasted delicious. I love the hot sauce bar! I'm changing my rating from 4 stars to 5.

2022-10: This review is based on a third party delivery service delivering my order, but it's based solely upon the food and no aspect of the third party service are incorporated. I ordered a large Hot Pastrami sub with a few added ingredients, a bowl of chili with onions and cheese added on, and two chocolate chip cookies. The sub was delicious, plenty of all of the ingredients. The chili tasted great, I was just taken back a bit at the serving size for it to be considered a bowl, versus a cup. Still, excellent chili. I eat at this location pretty regularly, and at no point and time have I received such horrible service. The cashier, Eugene I believe was the gentlemans name, was rude from the moment my fiance and I walked through the door. He was rude to both of us before, during, and after taking our order. He brought one sandwich to the table for the order, which wasn't done correctly, and said it would be a little bit longer for the other rather than bringing out both sandwiches at the same time like any professional would in that industry. His behavior was literally so horrendous that I have gone in and edited what was once a fairly high review to what you now see. Absolutely pitiful, rude, and unprofessional behavior and service. Not sure I will be returning to this location, nor will I be recommending it to anyone...
