The food is great, lovely people and service is solid.

The website is painful though. I try logging in and it says I don’t have an account (I sure did before when I successfully ordered). I then try and make one and it says I already have an account. I try the forgot password menu and then it tells me once again that I don’t have an account. So I try and sign up another way and then it tells me again that I have an account so I cannot log on to your service to purchase food from you anymore for some reason and yes I’m aware of how confusing that read. Believe me, I just spent 30min trying to order from you.

So their website wasn’t working for me. I figured I would see if I could order them on yelp like I used to. Only reason I stopped is because they make more money off their own website. Yelp takes a cut. So I figure I’ll see if yelp at least works. You can only do delivery on yelp with them.

So I still wanted tacos and again they are very nice people and make good food but my god, I call in to order them and all I can hear is static so I keep saying hello until I finally decide that it’s not worth the 30-40min failed order attempt because I’m not going to shout my order across static with nothing but faint voices on the other side in hopes they get my order right.

Sorry guys, I hope you read this and are able to fix your phone and your website or at least...

I ordered tampiquena. I asked them to put mole on my enchilada. She said we cant do that. I told her its been done everytime Ive come here since you opened. She said she would check. She never came back, instead we got someone else, fine. We get our dinners, I got 2 quessdillas, no mole. I told the new waitress I ordered mole and I thought tampiquena came with an encilada. She replied some places do, we dont. She said ill check about the mole though. She ended up coming back with an enchilada en mole. I understand they may be new so I can forgive and go back. The coffee tasted like what an ashtray smells like. But the unforgiveable part is the whole dining floor was greasy/slippery. The bathroom even greasier. I asked if they mopped the kitchen and dining area/bathroom with same mop. She replied yes and with a "duh" snotty look. I suggested to her they should have different mops because anoher customer almost fell. She replied "oh, I'll tell management. This place used to be...

Update: I hate to say it but I won't ever come back here again. Complete turn around from the last time I visited. I usually come and order a taco dinner with lots of onions and cilantro and get limes on the way out. The cashier said they charge for limes. Which didnt make sense, because most people get limes just like they do salsa to go with the taco but I said ok sure. Do yawl know they tried to charge $1.10 for slices of lime? Something they've always given for free and still do if you dine in? Im appalled. There's no where on the menu where youre charged for limes so I knew this was either new or the cashier was lying. I used to refer people here but going forward I'd urge google to go somewhere else. First comes the over charging and then comes the shitty service lmao.. been coming here nearly 10 years and just like that it's a wrap. May your business reap exactly what yawl are seeding! Hope...

I'm sad to have to write this review because I've ordered from here many times. But today my food took 2 hours to be delivered. Which is not a huge deal. I get things happen. But then upon opening the soup I noticed a certain smell. Smelled like pesuña. Which is pig feet in spanish. I have never in my life been served pig feet in a pozole. If you've had pig feet before you'd know it's smelly. Especially if you don't like it. And there wasn't really any other meat. Just one big piece of pig foot. I called the restaurant and they admitted that use pig feet and simply hung up. Honestly I was really disgusted afterwards. The soup is being falsely advertised and it seems like they are taking a cheap shortcut using pig feet.

Since this review they have done an amazing job ensuring errors like this don't happen anymore. They are now the most reliable restaurant and we love their food I ordered steak tacos with no cilantro, add avocado. The girl verified "so only onion and avocado." This is what I got. This would be slightly annoying the first time, but we literally had to stop ordering delivery because they kept messing it up. There are way too many taquerias in Chicago to keep putting up with this level of incompetence.

Freshly prepared, hot, delicious food, with big portions. Customer service was courteous, helpful, and attentive. Prices are decent and affordable. My chicken torta was delicious, perfectly seasoned chicken, with fresh toasted bread, as well as fresh and tasty rice and beans. The last time I went here the food was outstanding too, and that was more than two years ago. My sister ordered steak tacos and they were just as delicious if not more than my meal!
