Paff's — Restaurant in Evanston

8/11/2022 Very good burgers, maybe the best in town. Service was non existent after my son and I placed our order. I had to go wait and catch someone at the entrance to the kitchen to get a simple refill of water and a few napkins. Yari was our server and she was very with drawn and lacked any positive energy at all. She never not once came and checked on us and managed to get half our order wrong. The food is good however the service needs alot of work. Also napkin holders in any sit down restraunt are pretty standard.

8/18/2022 Stopped in with my son and had a few cheese burgers. The place was packed and the service was excellent as was our meals. As a result I've upgraded my 3 star reveiw to 4. I will definitely be coming back !!!!

1/21/2023- STILL THE BEST BURGER IN TOWN !!!!! My son and I both had bacon cheese burgers and both were hot and fresh and seasoned wonderfully. My over all experience was great 👍.

7/19/2023-Taco Wednesday BaBy !!! $1.35 per steak street taco and $1.25 for all the other varieties of street tacos. It is one of the absolute best meal deals in Evanston at any restraunt.

Update 09/18: went to eat there again a couple days ago and the sweet pork chimichanga was da BOOOOMB! Not your typical dinky little chimichanga, this thing was HUGE. Get it smothered. Trust me on that. Original review: Paff's has been in Evanston, WY, for a few years, but we never had a chance to eat there until a couple days ago. Boy, we've really missed out! Although Mexican food is their specialty, they also have a good selection of American items (burgers, hot dogs) and desserts. I had the chile verde plate and my husband had a chicken dish whose name I forget, but they were both served piping hot with rice and beans and flour tortillas. I particularly liked that the tortillas were traditional style, not generic store-bought. Prices were reasonable, too. The big reason why Paff's doesn't get a higher score from me this time around is ambience. The décor needs a little work. The walls are practically devoid of pictures, posters, artwork of any kind. I did a take-out order, a chicken quesadilla, a cup of corn (elote) and an asada burrito. The service was okay, since it was a take out order they were cool no issue with that. But the food…. No. A very HUGE HELL NO. I guess coming from New Mexico and having authentic Mexican food- this was definitely not Mexican, even Taco Bell does better. But wanted to give them a chance but that was a huge mistake. Spent $35, not too bad but since my family and I didn’t like the food and didn’t eat it, so it was a waste of money for sure.
