One star is too much for our experience. My sister and I came for lunch and when walking through the door noticed a sign asking us to seat ourselves. There were plenty of available tables so chose a central one right in the middle of the restaurant. There were only three other groups of people eating when we came in. A couple of minutes after we arrived, a father with a couple of children came in and sat at an adjacent table. After several minutes a waiter went to the family's table near us and gave them menus and took their drink order. We were completely ignored. Near the back of the restaurant two women were noisily rearranging tables, and there were three other people working who were just standing around chatting. No one greeted us or even looked our way, even though we were sitting right in the middle of the room right next to the family getting served. The family received their drinks and their lunch order was taken - still no one even looked at us. Finally, one of the women toward the back said to the other employees that 'these ladies have not been helped yet'. One of the waiters acted like he didn't have a pad needed to take our order and turned and walked away. I thought he must have gone in the back to get a pad and would be out to help us, but when he came back out several minutes later, he went back and started talking with the other staff again. No one even attempted to come to our table - even after the reminder by the other staff member. We waited a while longer and finally decided that for some reason they felt that they didn't need to wait on us and didn't need or want our patronage. We were completely ignored the entire time we were there. The only part of this experience that may deserve one star is that the restaurant appeared fairly clean. But since we never even got a glass of water or a drink, let alone any food, I would warn everyone from setting foot in this place. From looking at some of the other reviews it appears some people got good service, but we did not. They should be ashamed that they feel it is acceptable to treat customers who pay their...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. MINUS 5 STARS
The beer was average at best. I've made better beers on my stovetop at home.
The service was incredibly bad. Our server was completely awkward and almost unresponsive when asking questions about items on the menu, basically a blank stare for a few seconds before answering.
We ordered the Fire Chicken and a Veggie flatbread pizza. The fire chicken was dry and gross. Didn't eat most of the bread. The jalapenos were not the slightest bit hot, which means they were old and from a can. The fries weren't cooked all the way through and resembled a soggy noodle, which I wouldn't give to my dog. The veggie pizza....where do I start. Super soggy dough. ABSOLUTELY RAW thick cut peppers and onions literally just thrown on top. Whole cherry tomatoes just tossed wherever they fell onto the pizza. No cheese. But it was served with a pickle on the side, so that was something new and odd to see. When we asked about the raw vegetables, we were told that since we asked for the raspberry vinaigrette, that was only supposed to be "drizzled" on top, to be on the side, that the sauce actually helps the vegatables cook and that's why our vegetables were raw. Hmmmmmm...not sure if that's how cooking actually works. After our server stopped running laps inside and outside of the entire building chasing his girlfriend around, we were able to ask for our check so we could simply just leave and put this nasty experience behind us. That took about 15 minutes. Oh yeah, one last kick in the teeth, as I exited the bathroom, which is directly across from the kitchen, I saw the cook sticking his fingers into our pizza, looks at the other cook and shrugs his shoulders and says, "this is good enough". If I wanted fingers in my food, I'll have dinner with my niece and nephew, they're toddlers and don't know any better.
LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN THIS TOWN. Disgusting in every aspect. I feel gross actually paying for that experience. Shame on the owner(s) for allowing this. This place should be closed down...
Read moreMy family and I used to love Suds Brothers a lot. Now, the only items on their menu that we feel are worth spending money on are their burgers. Their burgers get 5 stars, the service over the phone and picking up orders has been great. There have been more than a handful of mistakes with our orders, nothing to scream about, just be irritated with. I was excited when I saw their pulled pork on the menu, ordered it, and was disappointed. There was very little meat and the cost was much too high for that tiny sandwich. Excited again to see a monte Cristo on the menu, ordered it and once again, huge disappointment. Two thick slices of Texas toast battered and cooked with 2 very thinly sliced pieces of ham. I don't recall if they put any cheese on it, and no powdered sugar. When I called and spoke with one of the staff about it, they confirmed the sandwich had 2 slices of meat. We've seen pics of the dishes they offer on special, have ordered them and wondered where all the fries were... didn't get even close to what their pics had shown. Another customer took pics of their food when they ordered and their meal looked delicious with plenty of fries. That person was also a friend of the manager! I worked in restaurants for 13 years. I managed, cooked, waited on tables, and was a hostess. I've made delicious and amazing Monte Cristo's and more. Suds Bros version of a Monte Cristo was horrible. We love this place, however, we've become discouraged and disappointed with their food. Their prices have increased, for many dishes the cost is simply not worth it. I really wish they would take a look at what they offer and the cost they have listed. They need some revamping to get back to being the great place they used to be. I really hope they do, otherwise we may not...
