G D Ritzy's — Restaurant in Evansville

This place is going downhill!! We went inside to order and eat at 9:15pm. They close at 10:00 pm. Drive thru had 4 cars, and no one was dining inside. We were not greeted. Cashier just stood at register looking at us. We just started ordering our food. She never thanked us or really spoke. Her and another young guy chitchated to each other. All other employees seem very unhappy. No one talked to each other. Stood there waiting for order. My hot dog with cheese was put on tray. She asked drive thru people to get 2 sweet teas. She had to go to back to get noodles for three- way chill. The two orders of fries were put on tray. I tried one, they were cold. Asked if we could get hot fries. The guy put some in fryer. Still waiting for chili. The other guy put butter on noodles. I asked if we could get our tea. She said I waiting for drive thru to get it. The new fries were put on tray. The guy finally put the 3 waychili on tray. I asked again for tea. The drive thru man asked the cashier to make a shake. So she did. I had to stand there and wait. Asked for our tea again and she asked drive thru to get it. They finally did. Had to ask for crackers. This whole time the hot dog had been sitting on tray. Sat down to eat -- chili was ice cold and barely had any meat, mostly noodles, hot dog by this time was cold, fries were luke warm. Took soup back up to counter, asked if they had microwave. The boy said yes and took it in the back. Waited and waited for his return. I was afraid to ask for a " hot" hot dog. It was one of the worst meals, and service!!! If you are open until 10 then you should serve quality food until 10. There needs to be adult supervision there. I would not advise you to choose this place. There are other restaurants...

As a former employee, i will forever and always tell people to not go here. and IF you do, NEVER GET A SALAD.

When i worked here from july 2022 - octover 2022, i was treated horribly by the managers, who would talk trash about any new employee. If you worked a full 8 hour shift, you wouldnt get a break. but those same managers would be able to go out behind the place and smoke for half an hour, then proceed to eat food in the office, and only came out if the teenagers running the place needed something.

And the food is worse that any atmosphere there. the salads are always brown, unless you get them the day that they are made. and the croutons that we had to put in the salads are cut up pieces of old hot dog/hamburger buns (most of the time had mold on them, but we were just told to cut it off) which is then deep fried in the same oil they fry the fries, onion rings, and chicken strips with. the burgers are made in abundance and if you come when there isnt a line, theres a good chance your patty has been sutting out for the last half hour. and the topping that we had to put on the burgers was always so gross. most of the solids were slimy (ie tomatoes, pickles) and the sauces always had some sort of discolored film on top of them.

the building was absolutely filthy behind the counter. everything was always sticky, and moldy vents.

I have been coming to the drive through for months now and the person that takes my order in drive through was just very unprofessional and the way she spoke to me made me feel very uncomfortable. So there’s usually this one lady at the window that is super sweet as she can be ! And I asked her if it was her that took my order ? And she tells me it was her “boss” and I asked if I could speak with her . Well I speak with there “boss” and the way she spoke to me was just not a boss team lead . She’s very unprofessional and not friendly and you can tell since she’s the “boss” shes everybody boss even with the customer. I’m sorry but if you don’t get a new manger I will not be coming back .
