KFC — Restaurant in Evansville

2-14-2020 8:10 PM KFC South Green River Road- Evansville, IN..The owner of this franchise needs to walk into that store and fire every single employee working there. I sat in the drive through way longer than anyone should have too. No one would answer. I go into the store and a couple is at the counter and had been standing there for 10 min before I came in. I stood there with them another 10 min. Another gentleman walked in and all four of us stood there another 10. A female employee came out with her tray of food and sat down and ate as we all stand there waiting to get service. She yelled ‘counter’ yet no one came out. Another male employee came out into lobby and he also yells ‘counter.’ People are in the back dropping the F bomb and other curse words. Finally a blonde lady comes up to the counter and starts assisting people. She stated they were very short handed. They were not busy at all. 2 people could have correctly ran the place. There were at least 4 or 5 doing nothing but cursing and goofing off. If you have a Manager, get rid of that person and get a new one because your store is in very bad shape. I will not be spending my money there to in return get bad service and bad food. That store is in a prime location to profit well under the right owners and management. Worst experience with KFC ever! My husband walked in first to order and stood there for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement from any of the staff. Then took our order in and we waited. We ordered family 12 piece crispy chicken with sides. The chicken were real dark, looks like cooked in old oil, and dry. Normally I would eat more than one piece of chicken but this time, I can’t even finish one as it was horrible. The mashed potatoes weren’t cook. The middle part of the bowl was all potato powder and forgot the gravy. I asked for the gravy and took 8 minutes just to give me the gravy and when they replaced the mashed potato, it took 18 minutes before we got it and it was potato soup not mashed potato. When I got that potato soup rather than mashed potato, we got up and left because some customers were also complaining at the same time. One lady was waiting for her food outside for 35 minutes, one said she’s waiting for her brownie or some type of dessert and waited about 20 minutes, others were in line and has not been helped yet. They had about 6 employees in the building and and few of them just walks by back and forth, no one was up front. This place is a mess, not sure how this place still stay open but it is horrible, all the way around. We will never go back to this...

Waited over 20 minutes for our meal. Very concerned for sanitation and overall kitchen standards being followed. While we were waiting in the dining area, an employee eating a bag of chips walked back into the kitchen and was eating his chips back there. Then when he left the kitchen, he used the hand he was eating with to open an oven door for another employee. Someone had their personal jacket hanging from a rack in the kitchen. I only saw one employee wearing gloves. Employees were having loud, personal conversations in the kitchen that the dining area could hear. Large hand smears were on the dining area windows. The women’s restroom had trash over flowing and needed swept. There were straw wrappers, lids, and cups laying on the drink machine. An advertisement sign in the window was hanging crooked. The Christmas wrapping paper hung from the doors for decor was ripped and hanging down. There were flat boxes stacked on top of equipment. There was also a pile of open boxes on the kitchen floor. Another customer was upset and verbalized that they had been waiting for an hour for her door dash, and was still waiting...
