I loved visiting . When one purchases Items it helps the community.. The people looked so happy. They seemed eager to start their projects . Smiling and talking doing awesome work. All of them seemed to be having a great time. Creating one of a kind pieces to sell to the public.. I love the little cards attached to items sold.. They give a glimce of the person that created the piece.. It's a short story abt them.. The teacher was so good with all of the individuals... She was very interacting Smiling helping pure sunshine.. Her assistants were great too.. It a fun filled invironment.. Enriching peoples lives.. A safe fun space ..Learning, skill building,interacting with others..They are Creating beautiful friendships ...
Read moreEnjoyed visiting with my autistic nephew to help create a mosaic piece. Staffed with special needs helpers, very friendly. I wish it was a little more organized and tables/seats more spread out to accommodate working on the large pieces. We went on a very busy day so that probably influenced our experience. It was also "loud" at times which is difficult for some autistics. But overall, I love their mission and would go back or volunteer...
