So this review is a two parter lol. Here we go. Last night my Husband and I ordered mcalister's over there website. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar wrap with 3 modifications and my husband ordered the French dip with no modifications. We arrived to pick up our order. When we arrive we added on a lemonade a side of tomato soup, since it wasn't available to choose on the website, in an extra side of Caesar dressing. It seemed like we had our entire order and we went home. When we arrived and we pulled out our food we noticed that there was no azure sauce for the French dip and there was no meat on my chicken wrap. Now. Having worked in food service I know that mistakes can be made and I wasn't terribly upset even though I was very hungry. Everything else about the order was correct. The soup was amazing, the wrap even though it had no meat on it was really tasty and my husband's sandwich was still delicious. I called the restaurant to let them know that there were a few errors on the order. I spoke with Ali, she was supernice, Very understanding about the mix up with our order. Without being prompted she immediately suggested that they remake my food. She offered to make the entire order but considering that the wrap was the only real error, I told her simply remaking it would be perfectly fine. She took my name and number down along with my order.
Part 2! Fast forward to the next day. I get off work and I head over to mcalister's. When I arrive there is almost nobody there which is wonderful. The manager on staff was named David and he along with the workers there were super nice and understanding about my order mix up. After mentioning my conversation with Ali the night before they immediately set to making a new meal for me. Again they asked if I would like to have my sides remade as well but I told them it was fine the wrap was the only thing that was incorrect. They remade my rap with all the modifications and it came out perfectly. They were super nice and we had a good conversation while I waited for my food to be ready. The entire experience was extremely smooth! Thank yall so much and keep...
Read moreToday was my first experience with McAlister's. You walk in and the place is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly. You can see the kitchen and it's clean. At the time it looked like they were preparing a rather large catering order. So, there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't an obnoxiously long wait. I ordered a spicey turkey melt on sliced wheat. Instead they gave me a sandwich on some sort of bun. The sandwich is supposed to come with avocados and mine did not. However, despite this it was still a good sandwich. I ordered a side of cucumber tomato salad, in the first spoonful there there was a long blonde hair. I almost vomited as I pulled it out. Needless to say I didn't eat a single...
Read moreI usually have a good experience here. This last time, my friend and I scanned a "Buy one get one spud" coupon at the counter, and it clearly didn't take it. The final total was $29, and when we brought it up to the girl who served us, she said that it did take it. Upon receiving our receipt, it was clear it didn't. Then we got our food, and the spuds were not very big... (the smallest I've had, and short on cheese sauce).
To be clear, this visit wasn't bad enough for us to never come back. I'm trying not to let one visit ruin my overall opinion. But if every visit was like this one, it would be difficult for me to...
