This afternoon I asked a coworker to recommend a place for dinner that I had never tried before. He suggested Sam's Pizzeria, which I had never heard of. He gave me the location and it was pretty far out of the way, but I figured I'd at least check out their website and browse the menu. I was immediately drawn to the Hawaiian Luau pizza. I've always liked a good Hawaiian pizza, and their website has a good photo of it and a detailed description (they add brown sugar). I know it sounds simple, but it amazes me how many places are too lazy to post an up to date menu and good descriptions of the selections. Sam's gets it right. Fast forward to my experience. We opened the box and the pizza looks just as advertised and smelled amazing. Plenty of shaved ham, crispy bacon, and pineapple. The brown sugar elevates a Hawaiian pizza and separates a decent one from a great one. I'll be back. Next time I think I'll try a stromboli or the ham and cheese sandwich. Both look amazing. Keep up the good work!

I ordered food here last night for delivery for my disabled mom and was highly disappointed after seeing my bill somebody added a tip that I did not authorize on my card for 3 items it was almost 50 dollars you add a delivery charge which is totally fine but then you just decide to add a tip I will be disputing this tip with the bank. I will not be returning it’s a shame this use to be a really great place and I have eaten here for years. Very dissatisfied people check your receipts if you order online. Shows they are open 11-7 online and nobody answers the phone so I will voice my opinion here and maybe then someone will reach out about this issue.

I was hyped up about this place but was super let down. Some friends were saying since some guy took the place over, it's went downhill but I always heard good stuff about it so tried it. Honestly, it tastes like a Tostino's party pizza reheated or a old lunchable. I know they cook it to order but the flavor just isn't there. I'm sure the sandwiches are amazing but...just not the pizza.

Synopsis - Customer service was terrible. You can read more below for the details:

I placed an order for some strombolis yesterday evening and did not receive those items. I left my number and told them to call on arrival. After not receiving the items (it was 12:45 am, I called at 10 pm) I went to bed and just resolved to get my money back in the morning, no harm, no foul.

I called the next morning and they offered to make my food and send out fresh food to me. I wasn't really interested in the food because I'm understandably mildly bothered that I didn't get what I paid for the previous evening and would like to cool off about it. I was told that I couldn't do that and the manager on staff argued with me as to "Why it was there problem. They called me and knocked on my door." I was in my living room until I decided to go to bed around 12:45 and I checked my cellphone the next morning and I received no call from the driver.

So, I went to Sam's to pick up my money. I notified the staff at the counter who I was and my issue. I heard someone in the back tell the employee where the money was and that that was "all I was going to get".

I was handed a bag with a few rolls of change and a couple of loose coins making the difference for the 14.04 I spent. I walked out, but decided to walk back in, mostly because I was pissed off at the snarkiness of someone paying me in change.

I asked to speak to the owner, as I was originally instructed to do so, and did the first time I went in. The owner spoke to me and I told him "Look, I'm a little upset about this, you're paying me in change and I have the proof that your employee never called my house." attempting to show him my cellphone and the call history. He immediately shut me up to say "Well you can delete anything."

I said "Look, dude. I already got my money. I'm not hear to run any gimmick. I like this place, and I used to eat here like twice a week when I lived at the apartments behind this establishment. I'm mad because I'm being told I'M the one making some crap up, and I don't even have an angle to play. Like, I'm here for your best interest." He began to say it was in his best interest to not believe the claim of every customer and that I likely fell asleep, and before he could finish I basically just said I'm done and left.

The owner was clearly more interested than being right and defending his employees than he was making his customer happy, and based on that I would recommend against...

Title: "A Slice of Pizza Heaven!"

Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sam’s Pizza West, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the pizza. Oh, my taste buds were in heaven! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with a delightful charred flavor that added a unique touch. The sauce was bursting with the tangy sweetness of ripe tomatoes, and the generous toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a mouthwatering explosion of cheesy goodness.

Not only was the pizza outstanding, but the menu also offered a wide variety of options to cater to every taste. Whether you're a fan of classic Stromboli’s or adventurous combinations, they have something to satisfy everyone's cravings.

Beyond the delectable pizza, the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. The ingredients were clearly sourced with care, and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. The restaurant's cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards were also commendable, which is especially important in today's world.

Lastly, I want to mention the excellent service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations based on my preferences. Their efficiency ensured that my meal was served promptly, allowing me to enjoy my pizza while it was still piping hot.

Overall, Sam’s Pizza West has set the bar high for pizza dining experiences. It's evident that they take immense pride in their craft, and it shows in every aspect of their restaurant. Whether you're a local looking for a new favorite spot or a visitor seeking a memorable meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

My experience with Sam's was overall decent pizza, but not what I had expected. I used their online menu to place my order over the phone. I ordered a 16 inch 10.75 cheese pizza, and 2 orders of bread sticks with cheese sauce for 2.95 each. This would be 16.95 before tax, which led me to think that the total a little over 19 bucks was reasonable. The delivery took over an hour, and upon delivery the pizza guy had left my receipt in his car, so i don't even have one showing what all I was charged for. I was missing an order of bread sticks so I called back, only to have the man on the phone tell me I only ordered one order with an extra cheese, which was very untrue. So i was curious to my outrageous total, it turns out the prices were raised a couple days ago and they had neglected to change the online menu. The manager on the phone made no offers to reconcile this. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Not even an offer to write my name down for an order of bread sticks next time I order. Basically I was told to buzz off. I know for a fact no franchise pizza chain would treat a customer like this, but i guess its my fault for trying to try something new and local! It's a shame that local businesses lack the customer service skills that a McDonald's employee would exhibit. I will never order from this establishment or recommend it to anyone. A proper apology and offer for the bread sticks which I ordered could of earned them a valuable repeat customer. Sadly it seems that Sam's just...
