White Castle — Restaurant in Evansville

We had a pretty bad experience. It seems like I have to eat White Castle only when I go out of town, because this one is never that good. I always feel like I get soggy slop burgers. I normally go through the drive thru and this time I went inside and what a mistake. First thing I noticed was the noisy employees goofing off and carrying on. As I looked around and all the tables were gross. The visa machine was so covered in grease that I didn't even want to touch it. The drink dispensing area was gross as well. I got napkins and water and wiped down a table to sit at and eat. The whole time the employees carried on ranting and joking with each other, but never did anyone come to clean anything. I was the only customer in the place at the time as it was mid afternoon and only two people came through the drive thru while I was there. What was the final straw was hearing the black employees calling each other the N word. It seemed to be in fun and joking, but I felt like this is not an environment I want my 4 year old son exposed to. I don't use words like that and try to show everyone respect regardless of color. I don't want me son learning such disrespectful behavior is "okay" or except-able, when it is a black person saying it. Just not cool. I will...

Made an online order using their app. We told them that we made an online order and they told us to pull up to the window. Once we got up to the window, they told us our order would be $16. Which we thought was odd because that wasn't the price given to us on the app. But we gave them our card and payed. After paying as they were getting ready to hand us the food, they then started naming off what was in the order which wasn't our order at all. They charged us for someone else's order. We then told them we were the online order. Then they informed us that one of the items we ordered wasn't on the menu anymore. So they clearly don't update their app. So we made a new order.
