Went to Zesto's on Franklin St today, 5-28-25 at 7:15pm. Ordered a large chocolate sundae and paid $7 plus not counting the tip. Sundae was a medium at best and the girl said they didn't have a lid for it so by the time I got home the sundae was melting. If the sundae would've been a true large everything else I could've dealt with. The girl made it so fast you could tell she wasn't worried about me getting a large as her goal was to get me outta there ASAP. My name is Larry Damm and paid with a credit card so we'll see if Zesto's management or ownership cares or not. I'm guessing the latter as I've had the same bad experience at the Big Top on Maryland and I believe both ae owned by the same person. My advice to all is to go to Dairy Queen or G.D. Ritzy's if you want what you pay for. May get a little less but you'll pay a little less. At least you'll get what you pay for. $7 plus for a maybe medium sundae is not acceptable at all. Someone may want to tell the young lady that waited on me to give a large when one pays for a large. Have a family of 7 but just me this time but probably won't return to Zesto's on Franklin if not taken care...
Read moreI have worked fast food before, I know it's incredibly demanding. I know we all have bad days. But I was really surprised how chaotic it was there this evening. The girl kept calling order numbers that were ready, but she didn't give anyone a receipt so no one knew their order number. Then, most of those orders weren't truly ready after all.
One lady came in and was really mad because she said she'd been waiting outside for an hour for her order and they never did prepare it.
One guy had been waiting for maybe 10 to 20 minutes next to me for his two cheeseburgers and they seemed to be aware of this as they asked him several times. Finally the third time he told them and it turns out they had never had that order in the que to prepare it.
On my way out after they gave me my three corndogs (that's all I ordered), the lady followed me out to the car and exchanged my bag with another bag. She accidentally gave me cheeseburgers at first.
So far, this is the craziest fast food visit I have ever had. Like I said, we all have bad days so maybe they were just...
Read moreI have been a fan of the Big Hug for years but tonight very well may have ended that. I arrived around 7:30 on a Friday evening. They were busy, which I expected. I ordered my Big Hug and a dressed breaded tenderloin for my wife. The young lady taking my order says, "so you don't want the onion rings on it"? After repeating myself several times that I wanted my sandwich as they came, no special order, I thought that she had finally understood. Considering how busy they was, I didn't feel that my wait was too long. When I got home and opened the container, at first I thought that I had my wife's tenderloin, the patty was a overcooked, dried out greyish substance that in no way resembled the beef patties that I remember being the Big Hug. If it weren't for the lettuce and tomatoes, which both were very fresh, my sandwich would have been totally void of any real flavor. Oh, btw, there was no onion ring at all. in all fairness, my wife was very happy with...
