When you go in first thing you smell is the smell of Pizza! Then you see all the different slices available and at that moment you know... that your going to have to make multiple trips to try all the different varieties of slices. They have a great Newyork / Jersey style slice its crisp with a lil fluff to crust and good chew... The cheese pizza is a great slice and everything yah want in a slice. The yah upgrade to pepperoni that extra flavor and oil with the crisp Crust works so well "nice low flop crisp bottom... They make a white pizza and boy is it rich In the depths of the cheese flavor... white pizza lovers rejoice as this is your slice... We tried the garlic knots and these do not disappoint as they get heated with garlic butter served with a marinara that is not too acidic and not sweet... it hits the middle ground and works great with my pizza Crust too... Note the garlic knots pull apart and dip easily making them easy to handle as they are a good size whole. Walking down the pizza with an ice cold fountain Coke made this an enjoyable experience... My only regret... as I left they put out more new types of pizzas and I was full... I WILL BE...
Read moreFirst of all, I am a HUGE FAN of NY-style pizza. My family and I have been looking for the best slice of NY pizza in Cincinnati for quite a while now. We have had good NY-style pizza, but I have still been on my quest for the BEST NY slice in Cincy.
My search is over; I read about Trophy pizza on a local Facebook foodie group and knew I had to give it a try. While I was waiting for my pizza to be boxed up, the owner Jim introduced himself to me and offered me fantastic and generous service. The whole team was happy to assist me and you could tell they all took pride in the product they were serving.
We tried the grandma slice and ordered a full pie and both were fantastic. I had a bite of the grandma slice before my wife took the rest for herself. It was delicious! The full NY pie transported me to New York / Jersey - The crispiness complimented by the intense flavor from the cheese, sauce and toppings were everything you dream about in a NY slice. The service, food quality, and value get a 10/10! So glad we found this place; Kudos to Jim and the team - we will be back every time we need our NY pizza fix in the middle of...
Read moreDoor dasher here. when I arrived I was told that it would be 10 minutes and the pizza was in oven. 15 minutes go buy and I see a grandma pizza coming out, 5 minutes late no big deal. After watching them cut and place on a dine in pan I saw them put another grandma pizza in the oven. I asked the girl if there was another grandma pizza in the oven and she said no. At this point I'm upset because I was lied to by 2 women working the register. I asked why I was lied to and she said well you have only been waiting 3 minutes and I said you know I have been here 15 and that's beside the point I was lied to. At this point the manager steps up and says she didn't know and I said well she should not give out wrong info if she does not know and that's horrible customer service. That's when he says you are door dash and I'm not a customer and to get a real job. A good manager would have reprimanded the employee for lying to guest in their restaurant. This restraunt is ran by garbage managers and they charge $23 for a pizza that cost $4 to make. They try to be like good fellows down downtown but are more like...
