This is where customer service! LINDSEY From the location, Thank you so much for the best customer service I have received in a very long time. I got off work late still had to feed the kiddos and decided to spend the last bit of money I had just grabbing some gold star. I get to the restaurant, of course itās closing time. I still had about seven minutes to spare until closing.. Nobody would answer me after drive-through so I went around and knocked on the door. Lindsey came to the door and asked if I had an online order. I told her yes and she said they couldnāt find the online order. The store has been having issues with receiving online issues that I would have to reach out for a refund. Iām thinking you know how long it takes for a refund to come back, I explain to her that it was the last bit of money I had and I was just grabbing something quick for dinner tonight for the kids. I couldnāt wait for a refund. I showed her my receipt and she went inside and made my food. By this time the store was closed and when she asked her coworkers for help, they simply refused. She was already cleaning the entire dining room when I got there by herself. There was another gentleman was outside talking to a buddy, and there was another worker there on his phone! I could tell that this girl had had a long day, probably put up with some not so nice customers. I was probably not in the best mood and was probably coming off as rude myself. Lindsey still kept a smile on her face was professional and made things right. This girl needs a raise. Seriously, she needs a raise. Not one time was she rude, shortcoming or nasty towards me because it was closing time and here I come expecting my order. I donāt live in the area ever in the area and I come back to the restaurant. Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying this, I am a native Cincinnatian. I like Cincinnati style chili. I have eaten at this location for many years and have had very little issues (to be honest I can't remember any issues if I ever had any). That being said they have expanded their menu. And because of this, I must give my opinions.
A. Goldstar will ALWAYS have better chili cheese fries than Skyline. This is because they use a better fry. Both fries are cooked the same way, but skyline has an inferior fry. Goldstar then (realizing this) decided to take their fry game to the next level. Their fully loaded bacon chili cheese fries are heavenly. I highly recommend them.
B. Their classic chicken sandwhich is pretty decent. I was surprised how good it was. But if you are in the mood for a chicken sandwich, you should go to Chick'fil-a instead. They aren't special, just pretty good. They put pickles and a special sauce on it. The special sauce makes it worth it.
C. Their Hamburgers and Sandwhiches are so-so. Their special sauce is good but price vs performance, they aren't special. You aren't missing anything with the burgers or sandwhiches.
D. Skyline is better than Goldstar but not by much and only on 3-Ways and Coneys. I believe Goldstar has a smaller coney. But to be honest, Skyline and Goldstar are comparable and you can't go wrong with either. Around here in Cincinnati, this opinion might get you in trouble. But I assure you, they are both good.
E. I miss firehouse style. That was amazing. Please bring it back.

Ā Ā Ā Read more1st time this location.... Was a few days ago with me and my daughter. First of all I am a Manager for a top 50 fortune 500 company, so take this into account when reading. Absolute perfect service from the young gentleman who greeted us as we entered and took our order after we sat. Nailed everything! Including the smile, tone of voice, time from entrance to order on table and the follow up after food 50% complete. I watched him clean, prep, greet and serve all in conjuction. My apologies to you sir if I made you feel uncomfortable as I noticed you caught me watching and probably thought I was some kind of weirdo. I am not, I pay very close attention whenever or wherever I am at eating or not. This location was extra clean and I will be back here.
