Latest update 2025
I came here for the beef msemen, but unfortunately, they ran out and this was only around 4 PM, which was quite disappointing.
Since we were already there, we ordered seafood and chicken pastilles instead. However, I noticed something concerning at the register. There were clearly two seafood pastilles, but the staff member (who seemed to be Moroccan) rang it up as three and quickly moved to payment. When I nudged him that I had only two, he swiftly switched it back and changed the total. However, instead of acknowledging the mistake, he denied it outright, even though there was a clear $3 difference when he corrected it. If it had been a genuine mistake, an apology would have been expected but instead, he acted as if nothing happened.
I wanted to support a Muslim business, especially as we approach Ramadan, but honesty in business is fundamental in Islam. The Prophet SAW said: âWhoever cheats is not one of us.â (Sahih Muslim, 102). Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed, and I likely wonât be returning.
For others: Please check your receipts and verify your itemized order before paying. Donât be gullible, and ensure you are charged correctly. Allahu yahdeek.
My go-to HALAL messemen ground beef. Being an Asian, their messemen reminds me of Murtabak which is something I miss and this definitely answers my cravings. Don't forget their morrocan mint tea.
My only recommendation is to display a menu, I don't know what else is available and don't know how much they cost. They have the screens and a menu will...

My family and I were disappointed with the bastillas we got today. There seemed to be an off taste in both the chicken & fish bastilla but especially in the fish one. It tasted like they used old ingredients and left a bitter taste in our mouths. We took a couple of bites and had to throw it out because it was so bad. We really loved the food before, but I think thereâs been a change in the kitchen staff and the quality has changed. I would steer clear of the savory options! I really hope to see a change in the food quality because the service and restaurant itself was great but the...

Love the pastries. If you have to try just one pastry, ask for the "Opera Cake", but everything I have tried has been excellent so far. There is also a unique grocery store with a wonderful selection of spices and middle eastern options, and even has a butcher shop in the same shop. I stop by at least once a month and the staff is always friendly. This is a great spot for trying new foods that is located between Pollo Royal and Zuzu Momo. Highly...
